Game Hut Surrey — Local services in Surrey

Game Hut Surrey was totally worth the trip out from downtown Vancouver during my stay in the city.

The staff were super kind and helpful. They were fun to chat with and extremely accommodating. Their sales they do are awesome too!!

I brought some items to trade in and they gave me very fair trade in value.

I also saw they had a Pokémon Gold copy that was box and inserts only. The worker told me they were intending to wait to get a loose copy and manual to complete it but after explaining how long I had been looking for a copy to complete my manual and loose copy of Pokémon Gold she called the store manager and we eventually came to an agreement. It was super awesome and one of my favourite pickups during my time in the area! They had lots to look at and very fair pricing!

I was greeted with a smile & exceptional customer service from Mik! She was amazing! She made me feel very welcomed in a store I was not familiar with and she gave me some amazing conversation before we broke down what I needed. I am truthfully very unsure if what I got done was even something they regularly offer (she fixed a stripped screw on my Gameboy shell and helped solve a cord problem with my N64) but she was gungho to see if she could solve it, and she did! There wasn't a doubt in her mind when I mentioned the problems that she could fix it, and she was right. For that, I am forever grateful. This is my new go to place for physical media video games, memorabilia & cards. A great, clean environment, perfect music, amazing prices and even better staff. A nice little store that I've visited a couple times since they've opened up. Staff is always incredibly friendly no matter who it is. I'm a very chatty person, so I enjoy a conversation.

Prices are a little high compared to what you'd pay on an online store and you'd get more money selling on eBay or whatever. Regardless, I have both bought and sold products there as it's nice to keep locally owned businesses around. I would much rather support someone like them than give money to EB Games, Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc.
