Le Gibard — Restaurant in Tadoussac

This is a cute little pink place with a nice view on the beach and the St-Laurent. The decor is very beach house like. The staff is friendly and the service is pretty fast. We went there for a light meal before our cruise and went back for dinner after. We had the Coquille st-jacques, the ham and cheese panini and the pimped sheppard's pie. The latter had great flavours and was my favorite. We also had a cappuccino and expresso plus a chocolate croissant. The coffee was average. And I wouldn't recommend the croissant. It was dry and not crispy. But it was a very nice experience in general. I do recommend you dropping by to grab a drink and food and enjoy...

Friendly staff, great food, fun atmosphere! Perfect place to stop after getting off the whale watching cruise. It was pretty chilly on the boat so I really needed something hot to warm me up. We popped into this restaurant and my eyes immediately went to the coquille de la mer on the menu. It was a hot and creamy sea food bisque full of mussels, shrimp, and clams and topped with a hearty serving of melted cheese. The soup was served with a side of tortilla chips, which were awesome dipped in the soup, and a nice salad. Not to mention that the soup was served in a cute sea-shell shaped...

Le Gibard in Tadoussac is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that instantly transported me to a cozy and rustic retreat. The restaurant's location overlooking the bay of Tadoussac adds a touch of natural beauty that complements the overall experience.

The staff at Le Gibard are attentive and extremely friendly even if it was their last day before end of the season.
