Firstly! Sit here for a few hours and you’ll see the lot that these wonderful ladies deal with! Customers are beyond demanding, entitled, and rude! Yet even during a busy lunch bustle, these ladies always serve welcoming smiles and service! at busy times there can be a bit of a wait, to me it’s worth it- if i wanted fast food i would’ve gone to fast-food. It’s amazing fresh delicious food that just happens to be vegan! What’s not to love about a place that can offer so many different varieties for those with dietary restrictions…and have the food still taste amazing.(it’s hard these days) My boyfriend has a serious cashew allergy, a nut used very commonly in vegan food, and i a very serious gluten allergy(celiac) and this is one of the few places we feel comfortable eating! (and also one of the only places i can lol!) so super grateful we discovered this place as we have become regulars since! My Bf not even vegan and he still thinks the food is delicious (to all my vegans w non-vegan friends- you already know how resistant they can be sometimes lol) Their entire dessert counter is gluten-free which felt like a dream, especially once i started to try more- i lost count of my favourites. it’s so refreshing to finally have gluten-free options- ones that finally don’t taste like concrete powder lol! I don’t leave reviews, but i’ve been noticing my last few visits how customers have been treating the servers - so i’m here to say: You’re all amazing! amazing food! amazing service! i’m sorry people seem to be entitled, impatient, and disrespectful. it’s not classy. see you all again soon!!

I visited this restaurant for drinks, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible. The girl in the blue sweater overcharged me for the drinks, made them overly sour, and served them poorly. When I raised my concerns, she called another girl who claimed to be the manager. Instead of addressing the issue, the "manager" told us to either leave or chug the drink. When we politely asked for 10–15 minutes to finish our drinks, they called the police on us. The treatment we received was absolutely unacceptable. I’ve attached a video for evidence so you can judge for yourself the kind of establishment this is. Reply to Nancy : Everything that you said in comment is lie. I have second video proof that can show timing of police arrived at 3:13pm . I don’t want to reveal police officers face on that video. You are lying to save reputation of your Restaurent . But people who watched the video below are not dumb. And I’m going to left another review my dear which will show the time of video recording and people will now how biggest lier and racist your are.

ATTN: VEGANS 💚 My go to when I need a substantial salad with nice fresh ingredients. Living on the road, it is imperative for me to find delicious food made with fresh whole ingredients to scrub clean my body and help me feel sustained. Vegan & GF focused both the restaurant and the bakery they have many delicious options for vegans and GF vegans! yummy berry crumble bars, cookies, muffins and cakes. The menu is filled with vegan spinach dip, a nice tofu scramble burrito, wraps and bowls… there are actually so few menu items that have cheese and/or egg in them, I’m a little surprised they don’t just get rid of that last little bit of dairy and eggs and become a fully vegan spot… maybe one day! ☺️ Service is always 10 out of 10. A plus is the little patio out front, on a nice day and when traffic is slow it is a lovely spot. Thank you carrots and dates crew for feeding me giant a$$ salads in these days and for taking such good care of me! 😘-B.

Would probably choose one star, but my though my order was wrong, the food was pretty tasty. First of all, we chose this restaurant to accommodate some soy and dairy allergies in the friend group. We all ordered food but one of us had asked about the ingredients in the bread, the waitress left to check and could not be located for the following 10 minutes, during those 10 minutes a separate server brought out all of the dishes and promptly left before we could alert her that two of our dishes were incorrect and that one of us was still waiting to hear back about the bread’s ingredients. We began eating, overlooking the inaccuracy in our orders and soon after, we finally decided to go search for our original waitress inside the building for the bread ingredients, as well as drinks that we had previously ordered. Once she was located, we ensured the bread was soy free and ordered avocado toast. Simple, right? uhh.. Finally, coming out to the table 15 minutes after we had all received our food, the bread came out, untoasted, simply with a mashed avocado on top… i’m not an avocado toast connoisseur but i’m pretty sure they missed a couple steps as the menu description clearly states that tomatoes and sprouts are included on the dish. No waitress ever returned afterwards to ask about the food or alert us that payment could be completed inside. I feel like going here was more work than making breakfast at my house. One bad day does not define the entire business but I don’t think i’ll...

So, I'm just going to state my "qualifications" in writing this review. I'm a Jamaican woman, born and raised, and I have been a vegan for the past 17 plus years. So on Monday (Aug. 8, 2022) we visited this location and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised and truly impressed. I don't remember the name of what we ordered, but we had brown rice and vegetables and we added tofu to our meal. It is the first, in a very long time, that I have had tofu outside of my home and loved it. The tofu was cooked with a Caribbean flavour. As someone who appreciates a truly flavourable and well seasoned tofu, this was a sure 100% for me. Not only that, I respect that these folks understand the importance of the 80-20 rule in sharing food--80% vegetables and 20 grains. We had so much vegetables in our box it's not even funny. We were filled but not to the state of drowsiness, which is common when there is less vegetables and more grains. This was truly helpful because travelling for over 14hrs on a road trip you need fuel, but not the type to put you to sleep after eating. I love their food. Great...
