Fong's Villa — Restaurant in Tecumseh

I ordered our meal over the phone and it was ready and hot when we got there. Breanna took our order and she was delightful. I had the pleasure of meeting Molly and she is a very friendly and upbeat Lady. I ordered the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the Egg Roll with Plum Sauce. I was so full I could not eat my Won Ton soup so I shall share that review at another time. I will DEFINITELY be going back and cannot wait until Molly gets her liquor license so she can open the entire restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and they do ask that you wear your mask when entering. I am very impressed. Harold ordered the Breaded Shrimp with Plum Sauce and said it was very good. He could not finish it which is unusual for him so that speaks volumes of the quality. He also enjoyed the Spring Roll and Egg Roll with Plum Sauce and Sweet & Sour Sauce as well. Also, I think the prices are quite reasonable especially for the amount you get and for how delicious it all was. Kudos to you Molly! Quite elegant for a chinese place, but we found the food blend, Wonton soups watery and ridiculously small, the hot and sour soup had a very funny colour and didn't taste good, the beef chewy... We enjoyed only the fried rice... We ordered the dinner for three and asked to get two wonton soup and substitute the third one for a hot and sour soup. When the bill came, we noticed that they charged us extra $2.95 for the hot and sour soup, no big deal, but they should have told us that that's the case from the start and not look like they tried to trick us... No customer service skills, the boss-lady (the owner?) didn't sound apologetic at all, I guess she doesn't care if clients leave the restaurant happy or upset... We will never go back, there are too many other chinese restaurants with tastier food and much better...

My family went to Fongs for New Years Eve, we made reservations a week in advance because we knew it would be busy. After arriving it took about 15 to 20 minutes for a server to take our drink order and then after that they didn't refill our waters until we had to ask an hour later. Our food took about two hours to come out and all of it was cold, one of the dishes was wrong and they pushed it on us and told us that we had said the wrong order when the entire table heard the order correctly and they still refused to even offer to make the right one and just pushed the wrong one on us until we finally took it and two orders didn't come out until an hour after the others did. When I tried to complain to the owner she yelled at me explaining that I was wrong and refused to do anything to make up for it, I will...
