McDonald's — Restaurant in Tecumseh

My mom used to work at this Mcdonald's back in 2013. She was harassed at this work place by her co workers and I complained many time to her manager name "Lisa" nothing was done to help her out. She would come home crying and felt so helpless. I walked upto her manager so many time to help her out. I made her quit her job in February 2013 and returned her uniform. She was so depressed from the harassment she received, she was one of those people who would take things to heart when anyone would say anything to her.

FYI (we are from India), just because she was brown skin, this happened to her.

She committed suicide On Feb 21, 2013 by hanging her self in our basement. Me and my brother found her hanging the next morning. Till today me, my brother and father are still in trauma. This situation changed our lives forever. I was in my last year of my engineering program and my brother was in grade 12. I helped myself to overcome this situation but my brother is still in a hard situation.

Nothing was done to help my mother, they kept harassing and bullying her and no changes were made. We thought and worked in filing a civil case against this Mcdonalds. Since they are in a very powerful position, what would be the possibility we would have won????...

I ordered skip the dishes, it’s a normal occurrence that this location forgets to put items in the bag with regularity. I’ve been in there multiple times to pick up the missing food, that’s usually for a child who is disappointed they didn’t get their items… again. I went in today and told the gentleman working the counter, where he found my pancakes, on the floor, clearly not packed with the rest of the order. Skip orders have stickers that indicate the food isn’t tampered with, and this item was obviously, a) not in the bags with the stickers b) a breakfast food a 6:30 pm, so clearly part of my order. The guy at the register offered to replace the food and was apologetic. I can only assume the next interaction was with a manager, who decided instead of just saying sorry, escalated a situation that, to my mind was already dealt with. I was told to talk to a third party, that I’m probably a scammer trying to get free food, and that it’s skips fault that my food was not packed properly by McDonald’s. I have never in my life seen a manager escalate a situation. The most hilarious part was when I pointed out that my order was found on the floor, and I was in fact not trying to steal pancakes. He told the poor kid to “walk away” Any way, train your managers in customer service, double check orders before you give them to a third party to blame, and when a situation is dealt with, don’t let the manager on Saturday night...

This is the last straw, I didn't want to leave a bad review here, as this is the kids favourite McDonald's, but I've had enough. This time, I waited at spot 2, then spot 1 for my order. A double quarter pounder BLT with Large fry, and 2 medium fries.

They gave me my drink, then had me move up because there was a wait. 17 minutes later, he brings out my order. I was starting to drive away, but the bag felt light for what I ordered so I checked, and it's the completely wrong order. I honked at the employee walking back and let him know, so he took it back and went inside. 5 minutes later, someone else brings out the correct order. Somehow, a sandwich maker managed to put a quarter pounder BLT into a box labelled Double right on it. Which wouldn't be that big of a deal but they had CHARGED me for the double, and gave me a single, in a box labelled double. But, I had driven away already and was halfway home before I took the food out to eat it. This has happened on at least a dozen occasions where an order is wrong and the wait for a "Fast food" chain is way too long. We won't be going here anymore, and I would suggest any one else visiting the area to try one of the half dozen other restaurants around...
