Pat & Hank's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Tecumseh

I finally made it out there to try Pat & Hank's fish and chips and here is my review based on what I have ordered. I went there at lunch time on a Wednesday and the place was empty. I had met the cook outside before I walked in and I told him it is my first time here, so he recommended the tilapia fish, which is their signature dish. So, I gave my order to the waitress and she said that the order comes with bread roll, fries and coleslaw and it should not be long to have it ready. She went to the service station and right away I heard the her place the bread roll in a microwave at the service station which was few feet away from me before she served it to me (not a big fan of microwave) and I believe resturants shouk not use a microwave to heat up bread because it makes it chew. Not even 8 minutes later she brought my order and I can tell that it was not freshly prepared. It looks like they prep their fish pieces with batter and freeze it ahead of time. The fries were not cooked properly and were still raw from inside. After all, It was a decent experience but I think it is not something I would crave to have again and I will be on the hunt for the best fish and chips in the Windsor area. What a terrible service and performance!!! I ordered food, i got tied up and made it there as they were closing , i had cash to pay. Didnt want change i had about a $60 order. This place would rather throw out the food that was made then to give it to me at 8 pm as there was workers still in the building I told them i was getting off work and ill be there, i was suppose to be there at 7:55 latest. I made it at 8:03. They opened the door and said they cant hive me my order as i said i have cash As we have starving homeless everywhere they threw all that food away. Paid $75 for 2 fish and chip meals. 1 meal was a 1 piece, and I paid an EXTRA $20 for another tiny piece of fish. I ordered takeout. Didnt realize it would be $75 which was my fault, but when I get home and open up my meal, I see 2 tiny pieces of fish, a handful of soggy plain tasting fries, a soggy bun, and after them asking if I wanted any condiments and telling them I want tartar sauce, they still forget the tartar sauce. Im usually not one to complain, but for what this place is supposed to be, I wouldve ate much better just getting frozen fish sticks from the store and frying up some frozen fries.
