Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Tecumseh

They turn their grill off before closing time. So I couldn’t order a burrito at 9:45 on a Tuesday night.

Edited to provide clarity: When I arrived last night at 9:45pm the woman behind the counter didn’t acknowledge me at first when I entered or when I got to the counter. Then when she did look at me she told me that the grill was off and it would be ‘a while’ if I wanted a burrito. It felt like she was upset I was there. I was there for a burrito and quesadilla, which both require the grill. So decided I didn’t want her to make my food.

What is the best time before closing to get there if I want the 30-40% of your menu that is made on the grill? It would have been take out, so I wasn’t expecting to eat in past closing. And my past visits have all taken less that 10 minutes to make (being generous), so I would have been gone before 10pm, which is the posted...

If I could give this place a Zero - I would. We ordered from Skipthedishes - totally messed up our order and short changed us. I left a voicemail for them - never heard back. The food is ok but they are a disorganized mess and very under staffed. There mobile app is also not great.

This is the review I wrote from 4 years ago: Wow - there is one person ahead of us and it took 10 mins to order 2 tacos. They need to better train their employees to stop hiding in the backroom. The skipthedishes guys came in and the kid who was supposed to finish the order freaked out and was going to make us wait to finish that order. We had been there for 10 mins - seriously. We were about to walk out and he finally finished the 2 tacos we ordered.

This company is a total RIP OFF. They nickle and dime you for EVERYTHING! Their food isn't authentic Mexican cuisine to begin with but the toppings are fresh. Last time my husband went in there for lunch he purchased a quesadilla for himself, small nachos with cheese, tomatoes and lettuce and one pop. His bill was over $30! He said they hardly put any cheese on the nachos and when he asked for more... OF COURSE there was a charge! When I opened the container to eat them it was MOSTLY all dry corn chips with lettuce and tomatoes. It was TERRIBLE! I threw them out. You can't enjoy a meal in this place unless your willing to be nickled and dimed into spending alot of money for just FAST FOOD! We won't be back..there are other Mexican restaurants to enjoy in Windsor Essex county that serve authentic cuisine and do not nickle and dime you...
