I understand that I am in a French speaking area, and I do speak some French, but not well. I was sure to make sure I remembered certain phrases and to say them perfectly, such as "I'm sorry, I'm English, my French isn't very good. Do you speak English?" and "I'm sorry, I don't understand." The person who took my order understood my phrases, spoke back to me in English. I thanked him and apologized for not speaking French. I got to the window, and the person taking my payment and giving the food spoke French, no problem, I'll figure it out. I was handed a machine, paid for my food, got some of my order, but not all so I waited for a second, expecting it was coming. The person at the window looked at me like I had 3 heads, then started speaking very quickly andwith obvious attitude. I couldn't understand. I said in French, I'm sorry. I don't understand. She was visibly angry. The window shut, and I could see her gesturing in a negative way and doing what appeared to be making fun of me. Normally these things wouldn't bother me, but it had been a day, and it hurt my feelings, because hey, I tried to speak your language. The manager eventually came, and seemed to be under the impression I was the problem. I asked him what I had done to upset her. He just shrugged and said it was a miscommunication. Asked me why I was still there. I explained that I was missing my food. He asked me to pull up, and did bring it quickly. Obviously I can't prove it, but my sandwich seemed intentionally sabatoged. It was literally swimming in sauce. The worst I've ever had. There was no apology from the manager for the rude employee, although I felt like he and I left on an ok note. I explained that I understand it's my fault for not speaking French. I wish I had the courage to say that it was inappropriate to visibly mock customers though. I've been customer facing most of my working life. I've dealt with customers speaking languages from all over the world. Although I may not always understand, I make an effort to make it right for the customer, and I have certainly never mocked a customer who didn't speak my language. I happen to be passing through because I'm moving, and I'll be back and forth psst this mcdonald's frequently. I'll never give this location...

Read moreJust came back from the drive-thru and ordered 2 breakfast combos, specifically asked for hashbrowns. Paid for my order in 1 window and got my food in the next. Received fries with both combos instead of hashbrowns, and it clearly states hashbrowns on the receipt! When I told the cashier that that is not what I ordered, all I was told is that they serve fries as of 11am (time stamp on receipt says 11:00:54)! First of all, I arrived at the drive-thru before 11 am but waited over 10 minutes in line as there were many cars. Secondly, when I placed my order, if there were no hashbrowns left, why wasn't I told that before making me pay for something that I did not order!!! Had I wanted fries with my breakfast, I would have simply asked for them. To boot, it's not like I can go inside to get a refund because the dining room is closed! Maybe that's why it's also easier to give you clients' attitude! Wow! Easy to take someone's $30 but god forbid you provide your customers with what they...
