Shree Restaurants Bakery & Sweets — Restaurant in Terwillegar Heights

Sometimes a place like Shree comes along that blows your mind. I was completely amazed by the:

1. cleanliness of the facility;
2. professionalism of the staff;
3. freshness and flavors of the food; and
4. generosity in quantity of the food.

I ordered what is typically enough to feed two to three people at other Indian restaurants. I ended up with enough food to feed our household for another two whole days.

The food is unbelievably delicious and fresh. I often find that Indian food can be overwhelming with one particular spice or herb. This was all so amazingly delicious where all the flavors blended together seamlessly.

I also ordered dessert at the last minute and they discounted it because I had ordered hot foods. I never asked for it but I took notice.

Everything was also packaged so well...neatly.

Lastly, the facility is so clean and feels modern with its light blue pastels.

I will definitely be back time and again....

My overall experience was good and I recommend you go. I ordered the butter chicken and rice special, a side of garlic naan, a yellow smoothie drink (don’t remember name) and a piece of strawberry cake. The butter chicken was really good and fresh, they also didn’t skimp out on the chicken which is great. Whatever the drink I got was FANTASTIC! I am hooked, I will be coming back for that drink for sure. The naan bread was also very fresh and tasty, I do wish it had a little more punch of garlic flavor but oh well. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because the strawberry cake was not good. I mostly blame the fact that it was very dry making me believe that it was from the day before which is a shame because I was told the baked goods were fresh daily. Bought an egg free cheesecake and some other dessert today and had to throw all of them. My family bad stomach ache as well. It wasn’t made fresh and seemed couple of days old. They should not sell food items like this.

The cheese cake was horrible and very hard. Had one bite and threw in garbage right away. After that it was visits to the bathroom.

Will never go there again.

It’s a great place to get the Indian style veg and paneer puff. I tried their combo thali once and it’s great. Own things they shut down thali at 9 pm so they need to update that on website or on menu.
