Our visit was a disaster. The food was good, but everything else was to upsetting to increase the rating. We came with a group of people. They got their order, and we got our drinks (incorrect drinks). They finished their food, so I checked on ours. Apparently they gave two people the same order number? But, neither of us got our order. I needed to tell them what our order was. We got our order, but it was cold and had some wrong items.
While we were waiting I took my son to use the washroom, but the seat was covered in something gross and I didn't feel comfortable just wiping it. So, I asked them to take care of it. They said it would be just a moment, but my little guy couldn't wait. So, we used the girls (my wife took him). Before we left after eating I check the washroom, and it was still gross. Attached is the cleaning checklist they had posted (it's from last month). I hope it's not accurate, other wise it's been a month since they cleaned it.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the did apologize... But that's it. Just came by and said sorry. No offer to try and make amends.
It's a shame as this was my first Carl's...
Read moreWe love Carls Jr and the food is amazing. We try to visit the southeast location at least once per week. The Jalapeño poppers are amazing when they have them in stock. The ONLY reason we are 4 stars and not 5 is that today (November 13) we drove through and the girl who took our order was very abrupt with us. She interrupted me when I spoke, and kept saying "will that be everything" after each burger i ordered. She also talked over me while I was trying to speak. The sad part about this is there was nobody ahead of us or behind us, so I am unclear why she needed to rush me along and talk over me. It was very unusual because normally the ladies who take our order there are so kind, cheerful, patient, and they let me talk and listen to what we say. Other than that, we love the food and will keep going out of our way to visit. But perhaps stick to Sundays around noon rather than Saturdays around noon, for a much better customer...
Read moreWell, well, well, what do we have here? A slow drive-through, a messed-up order, and enough mustard on the burger to make a Frenchman surrender? Ooh la la, sounds like a real burger emergency!
Normally, I'm a big Carl's Jr. fan, but this experience was about as enjoyable as a root canal. I mean, if I wanted to spend seemly a lifetime in the drive-through, get the wrong order, and feel like I was bathing in mustard, I'd just stay home and do it myself!
But hey, at least we got a good laugh out of it, right? And isn't laughter the best condiment of all?
**I wrote the above while waiting for them to fix the order; I guess that gives you an idea on how long each wait was, and I am the only car or 2 in the drive-through. But the guys working there were so apologetic and ended up remaking both of my burgers, I have therefore able to leave with lesser of a sour taste...
