Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in The Palisades

I have been to this restaurant 3x...I have a hard time giving it one star. It's not because the food is bad, it's quite delicious...which is probably why I keep going back. This has got to be one of the most disorganized fast food places I have ever been to...there always seems to be a lot of chicken cooked but the service is extremely slow and in my case always inaccurate...even when I went back to ask them to correct the order they got it wrong. Dont even get me started on the drive through....more like drive and have a nap. I can't be the only person this is happening to. So hence I give up....I don't care how many biscuits you throw my way. You may as well go next door to Subway which I did tonight or sit down at Original Joes and have a beer while you wait...I stood there for 20 min and only one person was ahead of me. There had to have been 8 people working the kitchen and service area. I literally walked out when a bunch of rowdy teens started to throw ketchup packets around...and one of them making fun of a disabled person. Management needs to be more aware of what is happening on the other side of the counter...There are alot of learnings needed to happen here...but...

I placed an order through SkipTheDishes, but the driver never arrived at the restaurant. Although the app indicated that the driver had picked up the food, this was not the case. The restaurant manager called to inform me that no one had shown up, even though the food was ready. I had to reach out to SkipTheDishes via their chat app, where the customer service representative explained that I needed to reorder and they would issue a refund, as they were unable to send another driver.

I decided to pick up the order myself. The restaurant manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He re-prepared the burgers fresh and served them hot, as the original ones had gone cold due to the delay. The entire team was extremely supportive, offering us complimentary soft drinks for all four of us, even though our meal didn’t include them, and even checking if we wanted refills.

The food was excellent as always—fresh and hot chicken, perfectly baked bread, and delicious burgers. The jalapeño poppers were fantastic as well. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the experience enjoyable despite the initial issue. I highly recommend this place for their great food and outstanding...
