I was looking for a good Chinese buffet place for quite some time. After checking reviews for Chinese buffets, we decided to go to Dragon buffet. The food was excellent. After my first plate of ginger beef, Shanghai noodles, dumplings and sweet n sour pork. I could not wait to try everything else, and I did. The flavors were awesome! The meat was tender and everything tasted fresh especially the veggies. Wait staff did a bang up job and had a welcome to our home feeling. restaurant is the perfect size not to small to feel cramped but not to big to feel forgotten about. They had a pretty good selection of food items. I also tried the banana strawberry ice-cream, delicious. I will definitely recommend this place. If you are looking for Great Chinese buffet restaurant, look no further.

The Dragon Buffet on the north side of Edmonton is a small, tucked-away spot in a high-traffic area, so it’s easy to access. That said, the restaurant itself is definitely on the small side. The buffet options are very limited, and even within those limited choices, the portions are so minimal that it can be confusing. The drink selection is also quite restricted. It’s worth trying if you’re in the area and just want the buffet experience—after all, a buffet is a buffet—but if you’re looking for a true buffet with a wider variety and fuller trays, you’re probably better off spending a little more elsewhere. I was a bit confused to ask for hot sauce and no salt and pepper on the table. And confusing that hot water is 2 dollars. And a 2 L bottle of pop is 2 dollars more then a can.

The food is great and fresh. We came for the buffet (family of 5) we arrived around 4:30 so all that was out was the soup. About 10 minutes later all the rest of the food was brought out. It was honestly a bit awkward for dinner since we we were the only people there so the staff kept talking and it felt kind of encroaching on personal space while out for dinner. But they were all so friendly. I definitely reccommend going around 5 or 530 because the place does get busy. The fish and chow mein were really delicious. They had icecream for dessert. Kids loved having the second bowl of bubble gum icecream. Overall this place is great. They also have the optikn of self serve buffet to go which I think is great. The buffet cost just over $100 for the 5 of us with tip.

My family and I were regular customers and we hadn't been there in 6 months until tonight. We decided to have Chinese for Christmas Eve dinner like we did last year. We ordered a combo dinner for 2 which includes Fried rice and spring rolls and 3 dishes. The lady who took my order on the phone had identified herself as the owner and although she repeated the order also she took down the order as just three separate items(same as ones included in combo selection.) After picking up the order and opening my package I realized the fried rice was missing. I called to see what had happened and the owner immediately tried to blame me for their error. Its a no brainer first, why would I order everything individually when it's cheaper to order as the dinner combo? Secondly, why wouldn't the owners suggest the better value combo? And last, who orders Chinese food without a rice or noodle dish I told the owner I would be returning the food immediately for a refund. Upon arriving I was lectured about ordering food as if it were my fault that they tried to make the order more expensive with one less dish. What's even worse, we tipped $5 on pick up. It was Christmas. What bothers me is that this new owner did not try to remedy the situation. Instead she tried to blame the customer and in doing so has lost long term customers. My family and myself will not be returning ever and I don't recommend anyone go here because of the the lousy customer service. We had ordered many times the same way as written about above, with the old owners and never had an issue. DRAGON BUFFET thank you for ruining a Christmas Eve...

  • Recently Updated Scroll Down* This is a hidden gem, very friendly staff, clean and inviting and the food is made in small quantities to ensure freshness. The owner greets customers as they enter and periodically checks if anything else is needed to ensure a nice meal. Whether you're in a hurry or have the time to sit and relax this is one place you should visit and take friends and family. This is one of my favorite buffet style restaurants to visit in the north Edmonton area.

I went back after new ownership as a support request from the previous owner and I was really hoping for this place to work out but my first meal I was disappointment so I gave them a bit of time to settle in but no change. It is a shame because I enjoyed eating there with the previous owner and I was hoping for the same quality but it never happened as it just seems to be a lack of pride in the food like there was before it changed hands. I really hope this changes for the better as my whole family used to love this place. I will give them one more chance before I make my final decision on whether or not we will consider this in our circle of...

a Chinese restaurant that truly impressed me with its delectable offerings and impeccable delivery service. From the moment I placed the order to the final bite, my experience was nothing short of delightful.

The menu boasted a diverse array of traditional and modern Chinese dishes, catering to a variety of palates. The flavors were authentic and rich, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was a perfect balance of tangy and sweet, while the sweet n sour pork carried just the right amount of heat, leaving me craving for more.

The delivery process was smooth and efficient. The food arrived well-packaged, still warm, and the portions were generous. The restaurant's attention to detail was evident not only in the taste of the food but also in the presentation. Each dish was beautifully arranged, inviting me to indulge not just in taste but also in visual appeal.

What truly set dragon buffet apart was their commitment to quality ingredients. Fresh vegetables and tender meats showcased the restaurant's dedication to providing an authentic and satisfying dining worth a try. Your taste buds...
