We were very poorly served by Della. What was supposed to be a nice family visit turned out to be the worst breakfast experience I have had in a long time.. I am in the serving industry and hardly ever not tip because I know servers work hard for their tips however, I did not feel like our Server worked hard at all. She started off with taking forever to grab our drinks, then comes back and reaches over everyone as she hands them out. Once we got our food, she proceeded to reach over us to hand out hot plates over our shoulders instead of walking around the table to go to the next person we had to pass it to them. She did not quality check. My eggs ended up being overcooked and I was charged $4.85 for the same amount of fruit that my aunt got on her plate because I can’t have potatoes due to an allergy. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food and I left still hungry. I had to ask multiple times for a coffee refill, which at one point when I asked her she cut me off and walked away in the middle of my sentence as I asked nicely. She cleared plates from one spot of the table instead of walking around to clear everybody’s plates. My uncle also asked for regular syrup which she put in the bread basket and never told him so he got to the end of his meal and didn’t have any regular syrup. Then finally comes to paying and my cousin did not tip once she saw she proceeded to throw the receipt on the table and walk to the next person, did the same to my aunt and uncle, and then came over to me, watched over my shoulder and saw I was not tipping, I had not confirmed the payment when I tried to pay so it was not prompted properly. She proceeded to snatch the machine out of my hands and held it and rudely tapped it where I should “tap” and then proceeded to throw my receipt on the table as well. I've always had a simple expectation when I order the Swiss & Ham Eggs Benedict here, and that's to have it done right. Although it's not an upscale brunch spot, basic dishes should still be prepared with care.
On Saturday, October 21st, my experience hit a low point. The Eggs Benedict were drenched in sauce, reflecting a concerning lack of attention from the kitchen. What made this visit the worst, however, was the service. When it comes to dining out, my needs are quite simple: a warm greeting, periodic check-ins, and refilled drinks. Aside from taking our initial order, our waitress, Amannie, did very little, and we had to flag her down (while she was chatting with another employee) just to settle the bill.
A group of five patrons who arrived shortly after us received attentive service, which made me wonder if we were being consciously overlooked. I'm typically an easy-going customer, but if there was anything I did to warrant such dismissive behavior, I'd appreciate knowing. Read moreHonestly would give a 0 star if I could. This place was always where my family would come for breakfast or just a quick bite. However after today I honestly will never be coming back. Me and mother came in at 2 and there was one other table seated it was really empty. We waited at the front for about 10 minutes to be seated and not a single person came to check even tried saying hello and walked around no one came. The past 3 times we went they are extremely slow even when it is completely empty they’re not attentive to their customers at all nor do they put any effort into their job. They dont check on you after you get your food they’ll hide in the back and every time I go I see people leave from how long it takes for them to be seated. One time I asked for no bacon and they gave me bacon and it took her 15 minutes to come back from the back to our table for me to ask for a replacement and everyone else had already eaten and finished their plate. These things happen all the time and they refuse to hire anybody for them to be a bit better with their staff. If they keep it up they will lose all their business and it will shut down....
