Bezo's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Thorold

We cycled the Welland Canal trail from Welland to Lock 7 on a Tuesday in Thorold and made our way into downtown to go for lunch. We had walked almost the entire length of Front St. North, looking for a pub where we could have a pint with our food, finding only closed restaurants and one that we decided against, and were about to give up when we found this gem. Bezo's has an old school charm, with friendly service and excellent food. We got wings and fries, and I have to say that the fries here are some of the best I've ever had - crispy from first bite to empty plate. The wings were also delicious. We have been here several times and know bezo for many years. My father in law stopped in around Christmas time with his service dog. The dog is licensed as a service animal and had her best on and the card as proof. When he went in there bezo went off on him saying that this dog isn't allowed in the restaurant, he was shown that the dog was legally a service animal. He demanded that they leave and not welcome there. So if anyone has a service animal beware to go to another establishment cause the way he treated them is extremely discusting in my opinion. Have only ever ordered take out from here, and it never disappoints!! I am keen to their crispy chicken caesar wrap with fries, my order every time lol. Best wrap I've ever found anywhere in thorold/ St. Catharines area. Even their fries are delicious, very crunchy and golden brown. Not a soggy pile of under cooked fries most pubs serve.
