Harry's New York Bar — Restaurant in Thorold

To meet single working guys or girls this is the place to go. Friendly people only and great atmosphere just like Cheers on TV. I went there 1st time in a bar in 15 years and I was broke. Someone bought me a beer and I talked to just about everyone there. I had a great time and would recommend it to all my friends and neighbors. But I'm 69 yrs old going on 45 and I sometimes act like a teen. I'm just so thrilled to have such a nice bar to go to one block from my home So if you're looking to have a fun night go there. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this bar. Upon arrival, a girl falsely accused us of making inappropriate comments, which we absolutely did not do. Unfortunately, she appeared to be friends with the bartender, who then refused to serve us without any further discussion or investigation. They don't know if they want to be a bar or club, the music was so loud i couldn't even have a conversation with the person next to me. Also, they dont have any draught, you cant open a tab, they only accept cash, and the bartender seemed to be bothered by me even asking what domestic bottles they had. Went from having a good vibe to wanting to call it a night. There's better bars around, don't waste your time...
