Bop shop — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

We had an incredible experience at The Bop Shop! We ordered the Beef Bibimbap, Japchae, two triangles, Miso Soup, and a jar of homemade kimchi. Every dish was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The Beef Bibimbap was perfectly seasoned, and the Japchae was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of savory goodness. The two triangles were crispy and satisfying, and the miso soup was comforting and full of depth.

The highlight for us was the kimchi – it’s homemade in small batches and you can really taste the care and quality that goes into it. Plus, the price is fantastic for such a high-quality product.

What truly stood out was how quickly the food arrived to our table – we barely had to wait! Everything was fresh and hot, and the service was friendly and efficient.

We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! Highly recommend The Bop Shop if you’re craving amazing Korean...

Cute little dine in or take out Korean food shop. We got the beef bibimbap with the gochujang mayo, japchae with beef, and tried one of the tuna mayo triangle kimbap. Super delicious!! I got full so we took some home for tomorrow and I am already excited to dig back in. I didn’t know that we should sit ourselves and order at the counter, but the owner was super nice and guided us without making us feel embarrassed at all. Super interested to check out their kimchi jars at a future date, as well as just to return and check out more of the menu! As a person who lived in Toronto, I’ve had my share of great Korean food. Even traveled to South Korea a few yrs back. And yup this place is legit. My fiancé and were camping at Sleepint Giant and decided to check out Thunder Bay. It did not disappoint. We found out about Bop Shop all thanks to a lady at the visitors centre at the Terry Fox monument lookout. We ordered the beef bibimbap, japchae and the beef triangle kimbap.
