I must update my review in response to all the 1 stars. This is a Pakistani restaurant run by a Pakistani family. It’s not Indian food and that is what all the bad reviews fail to see. If it’s not exactly how they’re used to, they gotta leave a 1 star because the food is not exactly like back home. The flavours are gonna be different. Their samosas don’t taste like Indian ones the filling and doughs are very different. Their naan is very fluffy, not traditional Indian naan or roti. Their lassi is sweet, Pakistani style. Not the yogurty less sweet Indian style. Their biryani is nothing like Indian biryani, so I could understand the disappointment there if that’s what you were expecting. Yes prices are a little high but so are ingredients. So are the take out containers they need to buy, so is their rent! The owners need to make a living and they’ve been around now for over 6 years so I’m glad they’re doing well. I’m also shocked at all the comments saying how rude the owner is. I cannot imagine him behaving that way unless you were rude first. He’s the sweetest, nicest man. Yes drivers wait outside. Everyone waits outside! It’s take out only, it’s been this way for 4 years. Though I do remember the vibrant orange walls and the mouthwatering aromas as you walked in back in the day. Give this place a try if you haven’t already. It’s good. Order what you want but the samosas and mango...
Read moreI had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Famous Tandoor! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my meal.
I ordered the Kebab Platter, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The kebabs were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and packed with just the right blend of spices. Each bite was a perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness, showcasing the rich, authentic flavors of traditional tandoor cooking. The platter was well-portioned, making it a satisfying meal, and the accompanying sides complemented the dish beautifully.
What really stood out to me, aside from the incredible food, was the top-notch customer service. The staff at Famous Tandoor went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their food, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Famous Tandoor is a hidden gem for anyone who loves high-quality, flavorful Pakistani cuisine. The combination of excellent food, outstanding service, and a welcoming ambiance makes this a must-visit spot. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and...
Read moreI ordered gulab jamun, garlic naan, palak paneer. All of the food items were tasteless, and smelling. I called the restaurant and they started yelling at me, even dared to ask me put review 0.00, and mentioned it doesn’t matter to him. They have no sense of how to treat a costumer. Most insulting thing they said you don’t deserve to order from our restaurant, we don’t care about reviews. It’s really disgusting. First learn how to treat and give respect to your customers. They hung up my call while I was talking. So rude. “ yelling at customers, and taunting about their own indigenous food is the least thing you could do. They say review’s doesn’t matter to them, but it matters to customers....
