I heard such great things about this place so I was really excited to try it even though the salads are quite expensive. I got the Thunder oak gouda on my salad and I was very happy that they shredded it into small pieces so that I didn't just get odd, huge chunks of cheese and the tofu was pretty good! However, I had a problem I've never had before and that was that there were way too many topping in the salad for only the like 5 leaves of lettuce they gave me! The cheese was good, but there was so much. Like an insane amount, I was feeling sick by halfway through and I was still uncovering so much cheese. My partner finally convinced me to ask for some more lettuce and I did, and they said no. I couldn't even pay for some more. I forced myself through the rest only because I hate food waste and paid a good amount for the salad. If it had had better balance, I probably would've enjoyed the portion size, but it was more just cheese with dressing. The dressing was good but it got old pretty fast. This place disappointed me and I will never recommend or go back to a place with bad service...
Read moreAlways a friendly hello when you walk in the door. Salad ingredients are fresh and delicious every time. I'll overlook the whole chopsticks for take-out due to everything else about this place being fantastic. I think that remark I made about the chopsticks earlier, is mainly due to my own chopstick insecurities. So yeah, that's probably more of a me issue I suppose. You can place an order for pick up online. Or place an order when you get there and not have to wait very long for them to throw it all together. Walk on in. Construct your masterpiece salad on the paper provided, then pass it to the pro. A few minutes later, they toss you...
Read moreRebel salad is a cozy, clean space. The salads are excellent and as a result, the place is quite busy around lunch hour.
They have local art on display, and the chalk-board paint walls are available for your doodling pleasures while you wait/eat.
You select your salad type and toppings by indicating food items by category and submitting them to the cashier. It's easy and delicious!
The average single person salad with no additional cost toppings is a little over $15. I work in restaurants so I rarely ever repeat visits to other restaurants, as I can make my own meals at home for much less, and usually better than what I buy at a restaurant, but I must say I really enjoy rebel salad, and I will continue to go there...
