First off when we asked about eating in the staff was a little put off, tried to get us not to as the A/C wasn't working great, but we said it's ok. They only have a small area open with tables the rest is blocked off. We sat and looked at the paper menu, she came over we ordered our meals and drinks. My husband ordered the hot and spice noodles, I said can you ask them to make them very spicy, she didn't think it was a good idea but we said he likes it very very spicy. She said ok but people say they are to spicy. When they came they were very good, a thicker noodle then normal but very tasty had a good heat. He also got Ming's fried rice, it was full of large shrimp and BBQ pork, he loved it. We got an order or BBQ pork it came sliced and had a sweet sauce on it, it was really tasty. Ordered the wonton soup, the broth was flavorful, it had lots of sliced pork and wontons filled with pork and were nicely cooked not mushy. We got an order of sweet and sour pork, it was crispy and covered in homemade sauce, no bones and clean taste. I got a dinner for 1 with it came with 5 chicken balls, chicken with vegetables and almonds, chicken fried rice and an egg roll. I found the rice a little to dry and a bit salty like they used to much soya sauce. The chicken with vegetables was flavorful and had a lots of both chicken and veggies as well as a good amount of sauce. The chicken balls were ok tasted clean not dirty oil but not a lot of chicken to batter. The egg rool was very good and the house made sweet and sour sauce on the side as I had asked was very good. The spring rolls are very crispy and filled full or deliciousness loved it. Now all of our food came in take out containers, we were given plates, forks and knives as well as spoons to serve with but they don't have chop sticks or bottles or soya sauce, we were given packets. Overall it was ok the food was very very hot when we got it and she did try but you could tell that they weren't used to people eating in any more. Its sad as they have a huge dinning room not being used. We would probably order to go if...
Read moreTried this place out as I cut through Tillsonburg for work almost weekly. Just ordered a quick combo meal for take out. ( I Read reviews first!) Reviews are hit and miss for this place but I was pleasantly surprised with my order. Food came out smoking hot and very very fresh. Pic attached. Taste was your typical hole in the wall type chinese food. Not bland / no fireworks in taste but thankfully they didn’t clobber it with MSG or sodium as most do. Again, I’ve eaten EVERYWHERE on the road for work. My reviews are on point. Friendly old gal came out with my food. Maybe she is a one woman show here(?) Most of the restaurant area is blocked off….maybe they open it up for the dinner crowd. Looks clean inside but a little tired. You also get lots for your money. Going to stop by again. It’s a quick in and...
Read moreThe food is good. If it’s not burnt. The woman at the counter needs to go she’s the most rude, disrespectful aggressive woman I’ve ever seen in customer service industry. She yells and questions you when you aren’t entirely satisfied and will never ever offer anything for a disatisfactory experience I’ve only ever called once to complain about my burnt order and she hung up on me after telling me I was wrong …. I was like I ate it and it was burnt. Then she proceeded to tell me it’s supposed to be like that well I’ve ordered this for a long time and it’s never been burnt. That lady t the front needs to be fired and never brought back into the store again. She’s the terrible thing about the restaurant otherwise I’d give a...
