Went to Wendy's today with friends. They had messed up their order previously and were promised free voucher meals for their next visit which they never received. They spoke to the manager about this problem and she claimed it was never written in their log book. My friend told them a man was the one who spoke with him on this matter. The manager was determine to prove that it wasn't written in the log and than decided to give it to them. She asked them to proceed to the next window. But they said I also wanted to pay for an order. I asked for a spicy chicken combo with bacon poutine and a ice tea, baconator combo with chili fries and a strawberry lemonade + 1 large fry so my kids can share. Instead I got 2 small fries instead of poutine and chilli fries and 2 large fries and I had repeated myself 3 times to clarify my order. We shared this information with the worker at the window and she exclaimed " Oh my God I can't handle this!" and calls the manager over again. Frustrated she tells my friends next time their order isn't properly logged that she will refused them service. The whole time she was ignorant, loud and rude. The fault wasn't my friends but the person who dealt with them in the first place. And for mixing up my paid order? What was their excuse? No apology or friendly service what's so ever. Read moreThe Timmins location has just finished undergoing a complete interior renovation from front to back. The new additions include 2 self serve ordering stations and soft drink dispensers for the customers to utilize along with the original customer service ordering counter. Upon completion of your order a screen shows you your order in sequence of completion identified by a number corresponding to your receipt. The dining area features 2 large flat screens and a small lounge sitting area. The majority of the dining area has been opened up into a single dining area, gone is the majority of sitting booth's and carpet flooring and in with hardwood flooring and mostly smaller table's and chairs within the center of dining area and booth settings around the perimeter of the dining area. The staff is as friendly and helpful as always which is in the end is all that really matters, customer service. The upgrades give Wendy's a fresh new look and feel for which I believe most people would appreciate. I guess I should have given this review a 5 star rating based on all the new upgrades but I find the new feel of the building to be cold and customer service somewhat disconnected with all the new features, more automated and less personal service, which is only my personal opinion. Read moreI had a issue about a month ago that left me not really wanting to return, it was the first time in years if attending the Timmins location that I ever had an issue with the service, I went through the steps of leaving feedback through the online form on the website and hadn’t received a response. Decided to give the restaurant another shot about a month later and again faced another issue with the same staff as previously. This time I called the issue directly to inquire about how this issue could be handled and I spoke with Joanne she was helpful and attentive and reassured me that she would communicate with her staff about the importance of the issue as well as properly preparing the menu items.
I would was skeptical about attending this location again after the first issue even though I’ve been a longtime customer for years and today I was concerned again but gave it a shot, todays issue was lesser than the initial issues but still frustrating. I decided to call the restaurant and I am very pleased with the customer service I received upon talking to Joanne I am very happy that she is attending to the issue and no longer feel skeptical about attending this location in the future as I now know that I can reach a knowledgeable attentive staff person if there is any concern or issue with service...
