Disclaimer : Review from a spicy food eater.
Ordered : Non veg meals, paneer biriyani, baby corn 65 and veg biriyani lunch combo.
Non veg banana leaf meals on weekend : Pickle - Good Raita - Usual, nothing much to say Vada - soft and good, a bit small in size though Onion Pakoda - average, not the tradition pakoda from back home.... more like onion rings in pakoda form Parotta - good and normal sized as back home. Not the big ones u get here usual Chicken 65 - Taste was ok. The issue was it had a lot of bones. Fish Fry - was hot and tasty (probably one of the best in the meals) Mutton Sukka tender pieces and tasty (not very spicy but good amount of spice for entire family) Chicken Biriyani - More like dindugal style biriyani... it was definitely a winner White Rice Curries: Sambar - Good amount of dal in a hotel sambar, very good Rasam - A bit sour but nice tasting Veg Curry - so there was a keerai paruppu which was ok (not a fan of the dish as such) and a sundal poriyal, which was ok too. Vatha Kulambu - Good tasting, a bit sour for my taste and i needed a bit more spice. Chicken Curry - good, pieces were tender Goat Curry - traditional tasting mutton gravy, good Fish Curry - probably needs a bit more sourness but it was good as is. Buttermilk - nothing special Payasam - it was a semiya payasam, just the right amount of sweetness, very good Pappad - the only dish while was a downfall in the entire menu, would be happy to get a crispy pappad
Veg combo : Plain biriyani- the rice seems to taste the same for all biriyani Gobi 65 - a bit salty Parota - good Veg curry - good
Paneer biriyani : same biriyani rice with Paneer 65 pieces... the 65 mix was a bit salty but otherwise was good.
Baby corn 65 - same, mix was a bit salty but nice tasting.
Coming to service, everybody was pleasant and quick to serve. You might have difficulty getting parking as it's a small complex.
Note : The Non veg meals is 22.99 but you also have a 8% service charge on it
What might make it 5 stars - Consistency in taste and quality (over time will update the review), a bit more spice and less bones in chicken 65, vada as stand alone order would be expensive at $1 each.
Best dish - fish fry, chicken biriyani, mutton chukka, parota, payasam
No major improvements needed with taste and quality, just minor ones and it could be different from individual perspective. Overall a much needed tamil restaurant in...
Read moreSo the first thing I will say about this place is that the food was quite good. We ended up going here because we heard some good reviews about it. And I will say they didn't lie the food was very good. The shrimp 65 especially was absolutely delicious so were the rothis.
However some of the staff do not speak much English and so they had to get a customer to translate for them which is a little bit unusual.
However all of that wouldn't have bothered me because the food was good however the one thing I will say that was absolutely horrifying. I went there with my mom. In the women's bathroom the sink has no water. It does not work and you could not wash your hands. In the men's bathroom the cold water does not work and so it is only the hot water that works. Again incredibly difficult to wash your hands in scalding hot water. You end up quickly passing your hands in and out of the water to try to wash the soap off. This makes me wonder if the staff are washing their hands after using the bathrooms before they prep the food. I also find it highly unlikely that both the men and women faucets broke on the same day so I suspect it has been like this for a while.
I am actually fairly sure that this is definitely a health violation and probably shouldn't allow them to be...

We had initially gone in search of their unlimited sadhya served on a banana leaf, but we learned that it’s available only on weekends as a full course meal. Instead, we decided to try their chicken combo, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was not only delicious but also reminiscent of the authentic flavors I used to enjoy in Bangalore. Every bite brought back fond memories, and it’s safe to say that all of us enjoyed the meal thoroughly.
The Chicken 65 was a standout—it was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To our pleasant surprise, they even served us complimentary rice and rasam after the meal, which was a lovely gesture and the perfect way to end our dining experience.
A special mention goes to Prabhakaran, a member of their staff, who was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. His warmth and professionalism added to the charm of the place.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit and can’t wait to...
