I would have to say this is the best Timmy's I have been too,I have been a customer there for many years ,the staff is wonderful ,doesn't matter morning afternoon or 3am ,the staff are always cheerful helpful ,its always clean ,if its not busy the staff takes the time to talk with you ,always ask how your day is going ,my husband passed away almost 3 years ago I didn't sleep much so I would go there just about every night after he passed around 3 am most of the staff there know me very well and would take the time to ask how I was and tell me anytime you just want to come sit so your not alone and if no one is in the store (staff member who worked that shift most nights)would have a coffee with me she would wait till I came to take her break go outside have a smoke with me even tho she didn't smoke so anyone looking for a good Timmy's go to the this one Kingston rd just west of Midland ave ,we go with the kids if its nice out we all meet up with the kids and hang outside the guys that sit in the parking lot almost everyday for the most part keep drug users away they don't let people beg for money but if they see that someone is really hungry coming around the customers that hang there will offer a sandwich and coffee ,lots of seating ,if they do make a mistake with your food order they are quick to fix it and they will give you your coffee or tea for free because you had to wait for them to fix whatever was wrong ,they always treat the customers like they were family ,I love this Tim Hortons ,clean ,fast good service wonderful staff ,so if you have a chance to visit please do you won't be disappointed and if its early morning it can be very busy in the drive thur but cut the staff some slack they do the very best they can to get you on your way alot of times its rude customers holding things up ,I think I might just get on the bus and go there for breakfast ,I don't live in the area anymore but its worth the 25...
Read moreThe majority of the staff here are lovely and they prepare your food and drink so quickly, but there is one employee there who is persistently miserable. Like, to the point that she makes visiting this location unpleasant. Her angrily slamming my straw and receipt on the counter was the last straw (pun not intended) and I'll be taking my coffee-related needs to the nearby Starbucks. Now, if she were this rude but also efficient, maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but she's constantly relying on other employees to find the items for her in the POS system, so she doesn't even have that going for her. Like I said, the rest of the staff are lovely, but her poor customer service really detracts from all the positives of this location. I think she needs supplementary training, and I say this as a former Tim's employee and someone who worked foodservice all through uni. EDIT: After reading other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who's complained about this employee. She's an elderly Filipino lady wearing glasses and she usually works the morning shift. I get it that everybody has off days, but going off of reviews and my own experiences at this location, it seems that she has them more often than not. The story shared by another reviewer also indicates that the level of service provided by this employee is determined by a customer's gender. Yikes! I reached out to the Tim Hortons guest services team before I wrote this review and I appreciate the owner's response to this review. Hopefully this behaviour is addressed with this employee so that every customer can have a pleasant experience at...
Read moreHad a very rude encounter at this Tim’s. All I did was a mobile order and I saw the receipt for my drink. I also ordered food, but the receipt was only under my drink. I saw the bag of food SEPARATE from my drink. I asked one of the staff (an elder Filipino lady, with black glasses, short black hair) and she was incredibly rude. I waited to ask when she was near and not so busy just to double check if the food was mine. But when I asked she was all, “I don’t know. I didn’t make this order. Where’s your receipt?” In a very impolite and impertinent manner. Then I showed my receipt and BLAMED me for not showing it to her. Uhmmm okay? Next time just place both orders together with the receipt. But I stayed because my partner also did a mobile order. Same lady who was blatantly disrespectful and giving me attitude had the audacity to treat him nicely and even asking him how to pronounce his name correctly with a smile. Prior to that, she was treating ANOTHER MALE customer with better customer service that me and checking with him to make sure his drink is made properly. Not only is she insolent, but she showed blatant differences of her character and customer service skills. Borderline biased behaviour for male and female paying customers.
She should be retrained to show proper customer service skills to both male AND female customers.
Again, this was a mobile order. Should be an in and out process. But over a simple question, she, herself made my quick trip an excruciating and offensive...
