Upon entering the Arizona Grill Lounge, nestled in the vicinity of the bustling Toronto airport, one is immediately swathed in an aura of warmth and conviviality. This hidden gem exudes a captivating charm, effortlessly marrying the rugged beauty of the American Southwest with the cosmopolitan flair of Toronto. The meticulously curated menu offers a plethora of delectable dishes, ensuring that even the most discerning palates will find themselves enraptured. The appetizers alone, such as the lip-smacking Bruschetta Grande or the tantalizing Spicy Calamari, are like symphonies for the taste buds, setting the stage for the culinary masterpieces that follow. The main course selections at the Arizona Grill Lounge are nothing short of an epicurean odyssey. The grill's pièce de résistance, the succulent Cowboy Steak, is a veritable tour de force that entices the senses with its exquisite flavor profile. For those with a predilection for poultry, the Chicken Supreme emerges as a gastronomic revelation, with its tender meat and ambrosial herb-infused sauce creating a transcendent experience. Aquatic aficionados will be enraptured by the delectable Grilled Atlantic Salmon, which effortlessly marries the robust flavors of the sea with a delicate, smoky finish. Vegetarian diners have not been overlooked either; the scrumptious Mediterranean Vegetable Pasta is an alluring melange of garden-fresh vegetables, tender pasta, and a luscious tomato-based sauce that truly embodies the essence of Mediterranean cuisine. The libations offered at the Arizona Grill Lounge are the ideal accompaniment to this cornucopia of culinary delights. I was asked to pick family members up from the airport on Monday night, and had to go into the city early to go to Yorkdale before it closed. That left me with a few hours to kill in between. After getting lost looking for a Tim Horton’s, I saw this big restaurant and it caught my eye. Since I hadn’t eaten and Mondays are normally our wing night, I decided to stop in. I ordered a water, then tried to order two pounds of the $8 wings. However, the relatively nice but hard to hear waitress said I had to buy a drink to get it, so I got a Coke. Then, I ordered 14 wings and fries. The fries came first, and it was a small portion. A few of them weren’t fully cooked, but most were ok. They weren’t homemade, which was fine, but they weren’t plentiful at all. I had them finished before the wings came. The wings looked small on the big plates, but were pretty good. A few were overcooked slightly, but they were solid and tasted pretty good overall. I got a carrot stick and a celery stick with each pound. I got lost looking for the washroom, but a nice waitress with a bow in her hair helped me find it. The washroom was nice and seemed pretty clean, but I think the cheap, pink soap they had out caused my hand to develop a rash the next day. (I get this from some soaps, and understand restaurants aren’t responsible for my allergies, but it’d be nice if they offered better and hypoallergenic soap to their customers.) In the end, it was about $30.50 for my fries, 14 wings and a Coke. It wasn’t cheap. The wings may have been $8 for 7, but the small bit of fries I got was SEVEN DOLLARS. I noticed when I looked at a menu before leaving. That’s ridiculous. Overall, the service was ok at best. The food was decent. The prices were kind of high. I doubt I will be back, but also doubt I’ll be in the area again.

This place has a great atmosphere, and our server Vicky was good exceptional. The food and quality, however, wasn't. I'm a huge wing guy and the wings here, although they present well and are large. They were absolutely freezer burns, and no amount of sauce can fix that. The Fettuccine Alfredo was inedible. We all tried a small bit to verify. The Chicken Asiago was very mid, lacked flavor, let's move on. The fish tacos were alright, and the French fries were actually pretty good, I'd say the highlight of the meal. Which we all resorted to eating part way through our meal. Lol. All in all, this establishment was a bust, and I didn't feel like there was any particular thing that would draw me back for a return visit. It seems like a great place to watch the game. So if you're looking to snag a beer with a friend and hang out while you pick over an app, this one's for you. As far as a sit-down resteraunt for a family of 5 looking for good eats, not so much. For the price per meal which is on average 26-30$ I didn't feel like there was a lot of value considering the food quality and taste. I would highly recommend the chef/owner/manager activity test the food coming out of the kitchen to assure quality because gentleman, it simply was not good.

NEGATIVE 5 STARS FOR GREEDINESS, FALSE ADVERTISING, A COMPLETE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE (so bad we didn’t even stick around for the food).

My husband and I saw on the website that the restaurant offered private party rooms, so one week in advance I booked one for a party of 19 people for his birthday. We arrive 10 minutes early only to be told by the owner that our room was given to a walk-in simply because they were a larger party. He then backtracked on his booking policy stating that they do not book rooms, private party rooms are free and are thus not guaranteed, we can pay a $1,000.00 deposit to book a room, the open dining area we were escorted to is a room, and this is the way he does and has always done business. The cherry on top was when we were told, and I quote, “A party of 50 supersedes a party of 20; that’s just common sense.”

It is false advertising to state that private party rooms are free only to expect that deposits be paid to guarantee rooms. The website clearly states, “Book your parties/events; Free private rooms.” The website does not state, and we were not informed by staff during our phone calls, that rooms will automatically and without notice be surrendered to larger parties nor does it state that deposits are required to guarantee rooms. We would’ve been happy to pay a deposit to guarantee our room, but we were not informed of any need to do so. We also would’ve been happy to find another restaurant, but we were not given notice that our room had been surrendered.

We were spoken to in an extremely condescending manner and blamed for the business’ failure to honour their booking policy. Both the failure to hold our reservation and the manner in which this issue was addressed were completely unacceptable. I have never encountered such a brazenly (short-term) profit-oriented business or been told by a restaurant that my business does not matter simply because there’s better business available to them, before. Based on the reviews, it is very apparent that a lack of professionalism and customer service skills is a common theme at this establishment. Moreover, I am extremely concerned that management has responded to many reviews but remained silent on the woman who stated she was denied service due to her service dog, and discriminated against in contravention of Ontario human rights law…

My husband used to drink at this lounge with his friends, but we are NEVER coming back here again. His birthday would’ve been ruined if it weren’t for Hooter’s who accommodated us last-minute. I strongly advise that you take your business elsewhere as ANY of the nearby bars and restaurants is...

I took my wife for the first time after work, we felt very awkward and uncomfortable seeing how the waitress were seated eating and drinking alcohol with customers, we saw 2 different servers seated in 2 different tables with single men around 60 years old. They were drinking the beer bottle and eating just like a customer, the main hostess was drinking beer with the man she was sharing her cellphone getting closed to the man sitting on his I don't have any issue with employees having a meal they are human like everyone but they have their designated place to eat on their break but drinking beer laughing and sitting on their laps is too much, this is unacceptable it just does't look professional at all, customers can take advantage of them and abuse them. We felt like we were on a strip club, seriously really bad enviroment, my wife was very uncomfortable in that place. I told the in charge and he justified the servers behaviours he said is normal because they may know those clients...and that if i went alone they may sit with me too but they may be afraid to approach me with because of my wife...he also said to me that it is not my problem very rude...what type of place is this? What type of justification is this? I've worked in customer service for years and i was always trained that you have to be be nice with customers but there must be boundaries and respect, what type of work is that that you can sit drink alcohol with your client and get paid, I also told our server and she asked me where i was from I said I am from Canada she said here in Canada is normal, I don't think so I have visit other bars across Ontario and Quebec and never saw this behaviour. The server suggest me to go to a restaurant instead, I was very disappointed. I just left without giving a tip for the bad service and bad atmosphere. I understood this place is for single or group of men and that is the strategy to keep them there by using this blond young girls approaching the client like hookers and making them spend money on them too. But is not a normal friendly-family bar like Jack Astor, Moxies or Hooters. I will never go there anymore. Food was tasteless as well and server were mostly taking care...
