Let me start with the fact that it was a Monday morning, so, it started slow. When I arrived, there were 2 women with babies sitting at the lounge, having cold drinks and talking, also someone sitting at a table, me, and 2 more people came in to buy coffee. It's a family business (I asked), and at the moment it was being runned by the owners (a couple, I assumed). The guy was a little intimidating at first, but he was so nice, and funny, that I assume it's because he was doing register and kitchen, PLUS, having all that an owner should have in his mind, about running a business. The woman came out from the kitchen to do my coffee, not before asking him details about my breakfast, so they could start working on it. Later I noticed she was in the register too. They're searching for workers. There's a sign at the door, so, those people making comments about a smile or lack of it, just consider what they should be going through, and YOU smile, so you can see they DO smile... And joke...! The eggs taste like EGGS! The red skin potatoes are delicious. The white toasts were thick and fresh... My bacon was thick and crispy... Mmmmmh! They have cold coffees, a Cappuccino machine, and regular coffee. I had the regular coffee and taste great! Is not bitter, not to watery either, I mean, delicious. I took a while, maybe close to an hour while having breakfast, coffee, and writing this review, so, I also noticed that people comes in an out. Most of them, workers from around the area, but the place gets full at noon. It's a great place to get coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, and sit to watch the news, talk, etc. The place is clean, has tall tables and regular tables, a small lounge area, benches, I mean, it's overall a great place. It is not a fancy area, but it is at a walking distance for several hotels around the airport. Courtyard by Marriott, Doubletree by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, The Westin, Holiday Inn, are the closest. This definitely is a place I will come back, and I usually come back, as I'm a flight attendant, and Toronto is one of the places I flight the most. You should try it, and pray for them to get enough workers, as I'm leaving in a rush, because it just got FULL!!!

If you like burnt, not appetizing looking food, with staff who are short with you, then this is your place. My two friends' food was just very burnt and the hash browns looked as if they weren't cooked properly (no in-between/just right type of cooking done here, it seems). The woman behind the counter, when I asked if she knew what the ingredients were in an item, just said, "I don't know," and walked away. So, I just decided I wasn't going to give this establishment my money if that's how I was to be treated. Was glad with my decision upon seeing what my friends' food came out looking like. Another friend informed me his drink was almost entirely no coffee, and was mainly creamer. To add insult to injury, the tables are all unkept and have spilled coffee all over them.

Just ordered from here through Uber eats. I haven't had anything from Country Style in years. In order some doughnuts, muffin, sandwiche and coffees. They had no doughnut bits, the lady that called sounded pleasant and not bored. The doughnuts, are large and despite the time of day, they are not dry. The corn muffin was delicious! Crusty top, yet moist overall. The sandwich was properly made. Good taste. Nicely packed in a plastic container. The coffee, I wasn't to keen on. I asked for 1 cream. It looks like between the 2 coffees 1 creamer was split. For next time, cream or milk should be ordered on the side. Overall not bad. Would order from here again.

The things people complain about this place are true. There was only one other customer besides myself ordering the morning I decided to buy breakfast. It takes them a while to acknowledge your existence and when they do, they mess up your order. I waited 15min while the joked and chit chatted amongst themselves I only realized their error when I arrived at my destination, looking forward to having my sandwich which was to have two eggs, bacon & tomatoes. I specifically ordered this sandwich bc it had eggs I open the sandwich and there's no egg whatsoever, all I got was a hump of mayo, bacon and tomato on a toast. I called & told them what I ordered and what I got, their response to me "well, I don't know what you ordered" followed by a dead silence, no sorry, no we'll fix it next time you're here.. they made the mistake and don't care if you paid for two eggs you didn't get, it's like - prove it or get lost. If they bother to even give you a receipt at least I'd have something to show, a picture of my sandwich wasn't enough for me to send. Avoid this place - there are far better options for quality, and...

Its pretty sad when you make complaints about the business and the horrible service you continuously receive, he sits there and makes excuses. Its not the first time I have had issues. The are always going through staff change, Some of the full time morning ladies have even vented about staffing issues and how they are treated there. I have been eating at this coffee time for almost two years now but after today I will stop at the Starbucks at Dixon and Carlingview. They always provide the best service and NEVER give issues when making a complaint. (if there is even one) The staff at the old location was better then this new one . The old employees cared about the regulars. Very disappointed giving i work customer service my self everyday. You should always have the mindset the customer is right even if there not. You do not want your business having a bad rep because you are stubborn, and that is the problem with the staff at this location. ...
