Really friendly service. VERY FAST for pick up orders. FANTASTIC fish to rice ratios. Believe you me, I lived in Vancouver for many years and eat sushi abnormally often. There are so many ways mid range sushi can go wrong. The rice has good texture, and decent milder flavour. Decent sized rolls. AND unlike ANY other sushi place on Bloor, they have Lunch and Meal combo specials. I eat here at least once a month and when I lived a bit closer, I was there at least once a week for lunch takeout. Only weird thing is that they are closed on one weekday and have worked myself into a sushi craving frenzy only to realise it was their closed day. The build is not accessible, sadly but more than a few times, I've come with a stroller not suitable for the stairs an I call up from the bottom of the plaza stairs and someone comes out with the CC machine and my order!!!! Come on,...

Came in with a group of 18 around 5 PM on a sunday. It was pretty empty at the time since they just opened for the evening, so they combined a number of tables together and re-arranged the walls as needed, which was pretty nice.
The interior is decorated pretty nice.
Menu comes with a lot of options, which is pretty normal. After 30 minutes of deliberation, four of us ended up ordering four "Large Fusion Rolls" that weren't available on the party trays, which are said to be "double size" and 11-12 pieces each.
The rolls were quite large. A lot larger than I expected. One roll would probably be good enough for one person. Enjoyed the taste and texture of each roll. Would say they are better than getting some of the roll combos.
Free tea. Free edamame Disposable chopsticks provided. Can't complain about...
Read moreI am extremely surprised at the high ranking reviews here. The sushis and makis that we got to try at this place were mediocre.
We ordered a Love Boat. California rolls were very salty; actually everything was way too salty. Sushis were a bit better than the makis, however the meat was very thick and chilled. One of us couldn’t chew through what seemed to be like muscle (?) and spit it out. That was their tuna sushi. I ordered a side of Unagi makis on the side as well; the pieces of eel were TINY. Those makis might as well been prepared with cucumber only.
The texture and taste of the rice were closer to supermarket sushis than restaurant-grade.
Service was very good and attentive though.
Again, I am extremely surprised at the good reviews here, given that Toronto has so many great sushi places for similar prices. Is it possible that we came on a bad night? Will...
