My girlfriend and I had the best time at Etienne Brulé Park by Old Mills in Toronto on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The weather was perfect, with warm sunshine adding to the charm of this beautiful park.

The park is situated along the Humber River, which features several weirs that create soothing and picturesque views. The scenery is absolutely stunning, with lush green trees, the serene Humber River, and the cascading weirs and waterfalls. The park offers a perfect blend of nature and tranquility, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing walk or a peaceful day out.

The well-maintained walking paths and the calming sound of the flowing water over the weirs made our 3km walk easy. We enjoyed the sight of ducks and geese leisurely swimming and resting by the river, adding to the park’s natural beauty. There are plenty of seating areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings, as well as open green spaces perfect for a picnic or just lounging in the sun.

The park is pretty expansive, stretching along the Humber River from the Old Mill to the Baby Point neighborhood, and includes a baseball diamond, rugged basketball court, multiple hiking and biking trails, and numerous picnic spots. We didn’t even get to walk the whole park because it’s so huge, so we’ll have to finish exploring it another day

Overall, the park was really clean and well-maintained, which made our visit even better.. The mix of natural beauty and well-designed pathways makes Etienne Brulé Park a must-visit spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and connect...

The beauty of this park is truly captivating. Its stunning scenery, combined with the bustling energy of the city, creates an awe-inspiring ambiance that is simply amazing. Whether you prefer a peaceful stroll or an invigorating bike ride, this park offers an incredible experience that is hard to match.

Amidst its breathtaking landscapes, the park offers numerous idyllic spots where one can sit and contemplate the serene Humber River. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a great way to rejuvenate one's mind and soul.

Overall, I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience. Its natural beauty and serene atmosphere provide a perfect backdrop for a tranquil and...

Over crowded & unmanaged. Was at the park on the Thanksgiving weekend. The parking lot was packed as well as the park. Many people were not social distancing and not wearing mask. There should be a rule to wear masks in the public parks even though its outside it was very busy. People would come right up to you if you were taking a photo and not keep their distance. The flush washrooms were open which was great but had no tolet paper so it looked like no one from the city had been there in weeks. Wish during Covid, the city would do a better job of keeping the bathrooms open & stocked. I suggest you bring your own if you plan to attend. There is a paid parking lot across the street if the free parking is full. It was...

It was my first time visiting Etienne Brule Park ever. I went with my husband and son on a Friday afternoon and it was just spectacular and beautiful. On the Saturday, we returned with my brother, his kids and more family. We brought food, had an evening picnic and enjoyed a fire, told stories and sang. We had so much fun, a little boy asked his mom if he could come over and join us... I think it was the fire that was most appealing to him. We got there around 6:30 pm and stayed until 8:30 pm. Everybody would have stayed longer. There's something special about telling stories around a fire. It was such a fun experience. I look forward to visiting this park when I next return to Toronto.

Had a family morning at Etienne Brulé Park and very impressed with everything. Large parking lot and free. It was quite full but as someone came in someone was leaving and the fact that Blog TO wrote an article on the salmon run it has brought in more people during the week. Couple dozen people standing on waters edge at the first water falls most photographers. The park is very colorful right now and fall has been great to us this year in Toronto. The washrooms have been closed for winter according to the signage. But they have brought in a porta potty. Got many great images of salmon and the amazing fall colors.
