My daughter with special needs (Autism and Epilepsy) has been enrolled in several classes (Acrylic Painting and Private Art Classes) with Art Work Art School; and I have nothing but positive feedback to give. Joanna and her staff have created a calm environment that’s conducive to allowing the artist to create and explore. All of the teachers have taken the time to connect with my daughter, adapted their communication style to ensure she is understanding the lesson, learning new techniques and built on her talents. The programing and methods of teaching at Art Work Art School keeps my daughter engaged and she looks forward to attending every week. I can’t recommend this studio enough! My son has gone to Artworks Art School for many years. From drawing to painting, charcoal to oils he has loved the classes and learned so much from the variety of teachers. The portfolio development class helped him present his materials successfully when applying to art programs. The relaxed caring atmosphere makes this program stand out from all the others. There is room to grow and blossom at Artworks. He now enjoys the Adult Studio class. It's a great place to paint. The school offers arts for all ages and abilities. I can't recommend it highly enough. Special needs students are welcomed .

Our daughter (4.5 years old) took part in the Sprouts spring programming in 2022 and it was consistently the highlight of her week. In fact, we typically had to do a countdown of sleeps until the next class. The instructor, Yusra, was kind and patient and was even willing to tailor one class projects so that our daughter could gift one of her works of art. The project that stands out the most is the self-portrait painting - the one our daughter completed is now proudly framed and hung in our living room.
