Boo Radley's — Restaurant in Toronto

Wow wow — I love this place. From the first time I walked in, Michael greeted me super warmly & told me he’d take care of me shortly.

A minute later he showed us outside to the beautiful patio & gave a sense of attention that made me wonder why he did it with so much joy.

I asked him if he owned the place? Turns out he did. I could see the love for it.

In any case, I then went on to order a ‘Beef burger’ & a beer. Yo — that beef burger sounded super chill but it was fire afff, everything was fresh & tasted delicious. + their BBQ sauce is fire.

Anyways, here I am — 3 weeks later, dropping this amazing review because I HAD to come back for another Beef burger and see my g Michael again 🫡

Cute little bar around Landsdowne/Dupont. Our server was new (4 days on the job ) but great - kind, patient and helpful! All the staff were extremely attentive and efficient. Where I was really disappointed was the food. Was there to celebrate a big ocassion and had many things on the menu - mostly platters with various items - nachos, wings, garlic toast, fries, hummus w/ pita, etc. It wasn't anything special at all. You'd expect that something out of the lot would stand (and I wish it did) but sadly no. I woul love to give this place a 4 for atmosphere and the good things that it has going for it - but the good was really a let down. Maybe it was an off night? I don't...

The steak sandwich is revolutionary. I mean, it was absolutely delicious. I for a rare steak and got exactly that, cooked to perfection. And the fries brought back memories. 5 stars to the chef! My only complaint was the way they served their wine. Never, have I ever, been served wine in a two rock whisky glass. It was a children's sized glass. In my opinion, not what I paid for. I am unsure if that is how they serve their wine, or if they were out of wine glasses. But if it was the latter, I should of been informed. Therefore I believe it is the former. With that being said, please do not serve wine in whisky glasses. A funky wine glass perhaps, but nothing other than...
