Canecas Sports Bar — Restaurant in Toronto

This place was NOT compliant with regulatory laws during my visit.

I passed by yesterday and while I was there for only a while, I managed to witness one of the poorest managements I’ve ever seen in a bar.

Imagine an intoxicated guy breaks your patio railing (out of range cuz he’s clearly drunk), and instead of evicting him you continue to serve? And then this same guy also left the establishment with drinks in his hands and harassing girls in the parking lot. They had 3 securities and NONE of them was super-visioning the patio, they were all inside.

Tips to owner: reinforce smart serve standards in your establishment; supervise your patio and make sure people are not leaving with drinks if people are causing trouble, make them leave in consideration to your...

Great parking, thats why I only go here, but lots of shady people here. Very common to see fights, incident and wrongdoings. 90% of the people that go to this bar, all leave drunk, and end up driving like maniacs on the road daily, and occasionally hitting cars, and fighting in the parking lot. The owners don't seem to care. Overall it's a nice bar, but it's the people that ruin it, and the owner does not enforce anything. All it takes is one person to submit a tip, and the entire place is shut. The Brazilian Workers, Always scamming when it comes to the change. You can't pay with any note thats higher than what you baught. You always have to fight for your change back looking awful, or ending up leaving empty handed if you don't want to cause a fuss, because you have respect, unlike they. Quality has gone down so bad, it's ridiculous, and shameful, they know about it. Some get fired, but than they get rehired, or coworkers take lead on the scam.
