UPDATE: I love the staff here, no matter who serves you have a very friendly and accomodating demeanor to all customers. My orders have been perfectly consistent to the TEA. I don't really stick around the store, but it shows how efficient the staff is with their beverage making to bring you in and out asap.
This store has been improving a lot lately when it comes to serving customers efficiently. It's nice to see the improvements they have been making since they opened. I started of rating it 3 stars, only because the new store hasn't really established a good flow when serving customers with a brand new staff. In one month, being in queue is much quicker now. The system isn't perfect yet, but I can see that they've made it further from where they started.
Bubble tea in all Chatimes have been the same to me, which is a great thing because consistency is the best when the bubble tea is great.
This place used to be a frozen yogurt place, and unfortunately couldn't make it. But it's nice to see what has taken over the empty space. It's a LARGE space with a large seating area, although it feels a little too crowded because of the many chairs and stools. It's also great that a bubble tea shop has opened outside downtown area or the more Asian dominant areas in the GTA. Bubble tea is appreciated and loved by all, and Stockyards plaza happens to have all types of crowd. Stores here have stood up, some won, but some could not. And I hope Chatime in this plaza can triumph with the rest. (I bet you they will, come on guys it's Chatime we're talking about).

Read moreBasically around 3-6pm on July 5th, I had gone to Chatime to get a Thai Milk Tea before my shift. I asked for a large one with pearls and no ice, then the barista proceeds to ask if i wanted regular sugar, i responded with "yes". Moments after I get my receipt and drink (which I don't double check because I was confident that they knew what they were doing) and begin to drink it while on my way to work - that's when I realized that they added ice, and i was like "fine okay" and then i keep drinking it and for some reason it wasn't sweet, i thought i didn't shake the drink well or mixed it properly until i looked at the side of the drink, turned out that not only did they GIVE ME ICE but they also DIDNT add any sugar whatsoever. I immediately stopped drinking and then went back to ask for a new drink once i was on my break. I explained the error that they made and they gave me a new drink with regular sugar but WITH ICE although I didn't want any. This is has to be the third time Chatime makes a mistake with my drinks. I'm not trying to be pushy or bratty but I believe that I should be getting the exact drink I ordered since I am the one paying for it. If this keeps happening, I'll probably just start buying my drinks somewhere else , where they won't constantly mess up my order. Read more-Just updating that my previous post here was still unresolved until now January 23rd 2023. My complaint was already been over 2 months for 2 drinks that I paid and did not arrived.
Putting up a one star review here. Be aware when ordering online. We ordered in November 2022 online and the delivery did not arrived. Tried to call the store and the manager mentioned that the order is still in store but we already received confirmation of the delivery. Asked the manager if they can refund it she said they cant. Submitted a request for a refund and it mentions in the website that they would deal with it within 10 business days. Waited and still after 10 business days there is no response from chatime at all! Called the store again and spoke with the manager and mentioned that they would need to send a report tp their owner. Until now over a week passed and they havent called again. We ordered multiple times in the past with this similar store and with their website but this is the worst customer service at all! We have been nice and patiently waiting but there is none. So be aware of future customers specially if your ordering on their website. I would suggest to just order in ubereats, doordash or skip. Any issues for those would be solved quickly. For the management of chatime. You could have solved this easily without it taking this much time specially for repeat customers....
