Just visited today....maybe it wasn't my day?
I had the NEW guy ....on his own, making our stuff. He was barely putting enough into the items we ordered. (I suggest a manager be present doing proper training). I had a chicken burrito. The chicken had burnt edges on most of the pieces and was very very chewy, I felt like I was eating a ton of fat. I also had guacamole added for $2.50 that must have been a teaspoon worth. Overall, I felt ripped off, to be honest. I couldn't finish it.
My friend had a quesadilla.....okay, maybe it's just me, but....they served the quesadilla WHOLE and not even cut!!! When he returned to the counter and asked to have it cut, they gave him a little plastic knife and told him to do it himself as they legally cannot cut it for customers with a proper knife. They claim the knife they have may have been used to cut something else. (I think they have dish soap and water to help with that issue..unless they are not used to cleaning things). Let me ask you - who serves a quesadilla whole and, will not cut it if asked? If you can't do it right, take it off the menu. I think there is a kitchen store next door, either they should walk over and buy a new knife or cutter, or better yet, bring your own.
The experience today was not great and I feel they need some attention to customer service and food quality. I don't mind paying for good food done right....today, I minded. My advice is: stay away from the chicken, bring a knife, and let them know you don't want...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had at a Chipotle. I’ve eaten at Chipotle in Toronto, Markham, Vaughan + more and by far this was the worst (2nd time here btw and can’t believe I went back).
Portions - Horrible. So small and so inconsistent with other locations. I asked for a bit more meat as the portion was very small and the manager said no. I stayed that was not the standard portion and she again said it was 4 oz which was a lie. The bowl had barely any meat and the quesadilla had the smallest portion of meat I’ve ever received.
This is a bad location and if you have the choice, visit another one. The manager hasn’t figured out what customer service is yet - food doesn’t always keep people coming back when there’s multiple locations to choose from.
By the way, there were multiple other incidents with customers after my situation. One customer was mad about the amount of hot salsa that was thrown on and another complained about the rareness of the steak.
The workers seemed nice but the manager controlled the house which looked like they were having a bad experience too.
I praise places when they’re good, great, or amazing. This place was neither and for that, you’re getting the lowest...
Read moreThis location used to be reliable but I am not sure what is happening behind the scenes that the quality of food has gone down so drastically. The chips I received today were so old and stale, they tasted like old cooking oil had no salt or lime and the guac tasted and looked like it was made with spoiled avocados that were well past their use by date. It tasted worse than store guac you get at walmart.
The rice was wet and there was 0 ZERO cilantro..just some Uncle Bens looking microwave overly wet rice.🥲
My bowl has made with what I can only assume was a teapoon measurement..no cheese, barely any meat or veggies.. I received an half empty bowl
Just want to know what happened? Cut backs.. food shortages.. for what I paid this is utter trash.. and I truly want to just deliver this Taco Bell level lunch back and get a full refund.. because it tastes horrible and was made so poorly.
I won't be back sadly..rather spend my money to support a local business with authnetic food still being made with quality. I have found a few in the immediate St. CLAIR area. Please do better. I ended up havung a few bites of my bowl but tossing 60% away including the awful...
