Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Toronto

HORRIBLE RESTAURANT AND HORRIBLE SERVICE. We went to get dinner yesterday and we spent $25 to get 2 pieces chicken meal (white) and a grace with a chicken wrap. We get home about 35 minutes away and there's no gravy. My husband drover all the way back ther another 35 minutes and complained and said he wanted a refund and to get our mea free due to there error and for wasting more than 1 hour of our time. We waited 20 minutes for our food and then drove to and then had to drive back. They said no. And there was never an apology for there mistake. We have recorded this incident and will le releasing this everywhere soon. They said they woukd not guve our money back. And made my husband wait 15 minutes more there qhile they serve other customers. THE WORST PLEASE AND CHEAPEST PEOPLE TO EVER DEAL WITH. THEN 15 minutes later they said they will gice my money back and will not compensate me anything for the food. WHICH RESTAURANT OWNER DOES THAT? THESE PEOPLE CLEARLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A RESTAURANT SO PLEAAE CLOSE IT DOWN.

THEY STILL DIDN'T APOLOGIZE AND DIDN'T GIVE THE FOOD THEY SHOULD HAVE DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE.

PLEASE STOP GOING HERE WE DO NOT NEED PEOPLE OWNING RESTAURANTS LIKE THIS ANYWHERE.

Went here because I was curious. Seeing that there’s a few competitors around the area...here’s a pretty safe pointer: if you like jollibee’s chicken, don’t be bother. If you like Popeyes chicken, don’t bother. If you like kfc, don’t bother. It has the crunchyness of Popeyes, but it tastes like unseasoned kfc chicken. They definitely don’t fry It in the same oil as Popeyes so you don’t get that uplifting smell when you walk into Popeyes. Overall, I would prefer this over kfc. Their fries are crinkle-cut fries and it’s tasty. A bit salty and on the soggy side. (Maybe I got the last of the batch of fries because it was pretty dead in there). Despite all that, their biscuits are DEFINITELY to die for. It’s a honey butter on top but it’s jot salty and dry like Popeyes. You can say it has some Chik n joy in there but it’s so soft and slightly crispy on the outside. Good job on that! Price is meh. Similar to Popeyes. Some of the girls behind the counter could touch up on customer service but it’s passable.

If you want to just check this off your bucket list...sure. There’s other better places for chicken. Especially...

No1 attended me instead the orders of online platforms were given prior attention. Even a warm welcome would have made my visit but was ignored completely. Saw ishaan not wearing his hairnets nor the guy at boh in specs wearing his hairnet. Janah/jahan took my order and helped in paying for the order. Overall complaint is abt customer service from ishaan who made my visit not a memorable one. Hygiene was not maintaind at all. Even saw ishaan using his fingers on tabs and picking up chicken pcs with same hand and packing and not wearing gloves. I knw gloves on hot surface but again he would washed it. Its 10.31 pm im still in the store now im informed that it will take more 15 mins as they dnt have my order ready. Like wth I was nt i informed abt this earlier !!!! I wish i could have given -10 out of 10 I guess u guys are understaff and proper staff training is needed on customer service. No sauces were given as well when I opened the package at 10.58 pm and even tenders are missing from my order packing Not worth at all waitin almost 20mins and more...
