Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Toronto

The Ice cream sundae is absolutely amazing! I love especially their Mexicana Chicken sandwiches with a poutine, It’s my favourite meal of all time. Their customer service was fantastic. I definitely would recommend this place!(keep reading below)

This is a FAKE review, I wrote this review while I was an employee here because an employer of this particular store made me. Even took the picture for me.

These people haven’t paid me for 2 months now. They keep telling me they will pay me but have YET to pay me what they owe me.

If you’re wondering why I waited two months for them to pay its because i’m a very understanding person. I know that people have a lot going on in their lives and so I waited and waited…and waited..and waited and my money was never EVER deposited into my bank account. The majority of employees are getting paid but me and other employees are not.

Please NEVER work here and save yourself the trouble. Even as Im writing this review the employer has not contacted me regarding my pay. These people very clearly don’t care and think they’ll just get away with not paying a hardworking teenager. Now I have to get the law involved because i’m young and they’re choosing to exploit me but thankfully I...

This was my first time trying Church's Texas Chicken. The food was good overall, the chicken had a nice crunchy batter and it was cooked well, and I really like the honey butter biscuits. Where the experience fell short was in the service. It took over 25 minutes to get a simple takeout order and the restaurant was out of a lot of things. I ordered Jalapeno Bombers, paid for them and was told they were out when I noticed they were missing from my order. They were also out of most dipping sauces, wings and chicken sandwich patties. How they could run out of so many key menu items in the middle of the day is beyond me, but I suspect it's a management issue. The guy running the cash was nice enough but very slow to put in orders and pick up food. Overall, the quality of the food was good but I won't be returning to...

I had ordered two of the Friday special deal, 3.69 for a regular chicken burger. Firstly, the cashier I spoke to, seemed uninterested and bored, definitely not a mood someone who's at the cash register should have. Secondly, once I had ordered, it took far too long for me to receive two basic sandwiches. I would hate to think about how much a larger order to take. Finally, once I had received my food, imagine my shock when my chicken burger was nearly identical to no name Frozen chicken burgers. For the price of my order, I could have gotten a pack of chicken burgers and buns next door.
