Cozy Cafe — Restaurant in Toronto

I think the GTA is full of hidden gems that people rarely get to experience because they're so hidden away. This is ABSOLUTELY one of them!!

The two people working there are SO sweet and kind, and obviously love what they make. Not to mention it's impossible to not smile around them!

But (arguably) more importantly, their cakes are SO good. I had the honour of trying their Napolean, and it wasn't overly sweet, had a perfect set of layers to it, and was just overall delicious. I got the combo with a black coffee and even their standard coffee is great. You know what blows me away the most? They apparently make the cakes themselves, which just adds to how impressive this lil gem is because... WOW their cakes are SO GOOD and even as I write this review, people are talking about how amazing their sandwiches are too!

You CANNOT go wrong by making a pit stop here if you're in the area. Seriously. Just do yourself a favour...

A very dishonest restaurant.

They made the mistake and didn’t remake the coffee. And they lie to their customer about the drink. It’s really unacceptable.

Here is what happened, I ordered 1 caramel frappe and 1 hot mocha. They put the wrong order, 1 mocha frappe and 1 hot mocha. I went to them to tell them to fix it. The lady went to the barista and the barista pointed to the blender. He already made the drink. The lady came back to me said they will fix it.

When I got the coffee, I saw the colour. I asked them,”are you sure this is caramel frappe?” The lady said,”yes.” I said,”but the colour is not right. It looks like mocha.” The lady then asked the barista to talk to me. I asked him, is this caramel frappe? He still said yes it is and walked away. I took it, and when my friend drank it. Felt tired around 4 pm and tried to find a good place for a rest. First looking for a bubble tea shop but I ended up choosing Cozy cafe as their Nepolean cake captured my eyeball, also saw a 6.99 special for cake/coffee combo. I can’t drink coffee so I asked the owner if I can have black tea instead , the friendly owner said no problem and even wrote Enjoy it on the lid with a smile face. Talked to the owner and was told their Nepolean cakes are homemade , no wonder it’s different than those in market. I will definitely come back !! It’s a gems in...
