Caribbean Queen — Restaurant in Toronto

I've been buying from here for a while. Today I decided to leave work and go purchase some food (I'm pregnant and had a craving). I traveled quite far out for this. I ordered rice, small pieces of chicken and broccoli. While sitting in food court eating I noticed a worm on one piece of my chicken. I went back to server's and they behaved like they no longer understood English when I told them there is a worm in my food. They both told me it's 80° there ( on serving dishes) and asked if I want it microwave. I explained again there is a worm ! Insect ! Bug ! in my food. They asked what I wanted them to do. I left the food on the counter and left since these people were clearly looking to waste my time. I contacted my husband he later went to them and the manager claimed they were looking for me but I had left. Apparently, this seem to be a norm according to what the manager told my husband ( worms seem to be in the brand of broccoli they purchase). My husband was refunded cash but they have now lost a few...

This place serves one of the most disgusting "Caribbean food" in the entire GTA. I've always supported small businesses knowing it's hard to be in the restaurant business for families these days. And I tried buying food from here at last 10 times over the years. Each time I come here, something is wrong with the food (burnt, overnight, uncooked, way too salty ...)

What's even more slap in the face is the fact that I wanted to give this place a try one more time hoping there are improvement this time while supporting this restaurant today (Nov 18th, 2025) after finishing my KFC. I asked for some salt first, the Chinese lady/manager told me I'll have to pay 10 cents or each salt she gives me.

So instead of being thankful to customers that support you, they're more than willing to scam you anyway they can in your face.

I was truly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was about to Pay for my meal.When my daughter who had just bought her lunch before me brought her meal back because her chicken was cold. They didn't even ask if she wanted a refund. They just rudly gave her the money back. Then proceeded to return my meal back into the food they were serving. I asked to Pay for my meal They said go somewhere else. They were so rude I shall never return. They are in customer service and they should not be. The chicken was cold and they had just opened. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone ever.Bad service spreads fast. I would rate it a 0 but I can't so 1 star it is.Keep away...
