If I could give a 0/5, I would. Extremely poor customer service.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this cafĆ© for years but today’s experience left me shocked and incredibly disappointed.

While trying to get the lid to close on my drink, I pressed a little too hard and the cup broke — a bit of coffee spilled on me. The staff initially seemed understanding and reassured me it wasn’t a big deal. After I came back from the washroom after cleaning my blouse, they offered me a replacement drink, a free drink coupon and a pastry, which I appreciated at first.

But not even a minute later, I overheard the two staff members talking about me behind the espresso machine, clearly assuming I had left. They mocked the situation and said, ā€œWho would be dumb enough to press down on a coffee cup?ā€ — even though one of them had already admitted the cup was faulty. How do you go from pretending to be kind to insulting a customer behind their back over a minor accident? One that could happen to anyone and has absolutely nothing to do with my intelligence.

To make matters worse, they were also talking about customers loudly and openly in front of everyone. What does that say about your character and integrity? Where is your professionalism?

Imagine if the roles were reversed, if a customer stood there judging the staff, saying something like ā€œWhy is a 30-year-old still working as a barista making minimum wage?ā€ That would be completely inappropriate and unkind. Yet that’s exactly the kind of judgment and attitude I experienced today from the very people who are pretending to make this space feel welcoming.

I returned the free drink coupon and pastry and told them directly how unprofessional and fake their behaviour was. They tried to apologize later but I had told them I don't accept their apology and we don't need to speak any more than we have to.

I didn’t catch their names but the two employees involved were a white woman with tattoos uses words like "babes", "sweetie" & "honey"and a brown woman with glasses.

I may come back for the coffee but the trust and respect I used to feel as a...

I have literally never seen place that has gone through this much employee turn over. This place was my go-to spot for 3 years!!!! The new management just sucks (not the baristas—I love them). Where is the theme that this place once had? First, they added these ridiculous blue car pictures that doesn’t go with the industrial vibe of this place. Now they have freaking plants everywhere where the excess water is leaking on the table—there isn’t even enough space to put laptops, why would you put plants on there? Then there are more plants by the window blocking more sunlight and making the glass look super foggy! Then for the love of god please stop shoving the spotlight into our eyes at the back wooden table…the whole vibe was for that space to be moody so we can get some work done! To the manager making these terrible decisions, please stop I beg you. Watch some yt videos on branding and mood setups. For reference this is how this space used to look like...

I’m trying to remain unbiased in my rating so i’m going to give creek coffee & co a 2/10; for now. every time i’ve been welcomed with very kind baristas, a lovely setting that’s also dog friendly! but, regardless of the good customer service and welcoming layout, the coffee is definitely not worth the Starbucks prices they charge.

theirs only one size, it’s a ā€regularā€ which in this case means a small cup with a round lid. every single time the drinks have been a miss; the frappe was a watery bitter ice cube laden folgers, their ice coffee tastes burnt, their lavender lemonade is a very off putting sour mess.

2/10 because I believe food quality needs to be taken into effect more diligently along with proper food handling/storing practices as this is what makes a local coffee shop. also i’ve recently found out by another reviewer that this is NOT a small business but just a condo management corporation that owns it along with a whole slew of other...

First and foremost, it's great to see a space that gives priority to accessibility; not just for mobility devices, but in terms of spacing for cognitive conditions. Patrons didn't have to be on top of each other and the open space provides breathing room. There could be a few minor divisions between areas, especially toward the back, with some open bookshelves and more plants to offer privacy. Large accessible bathroom that was easy to get to. First time there and noticed that it's a place for people to work independently using their laptops. I felt a bit strange having a conversation with a friend since it was so quiet, but those around us didn't seem to mind. This was approx 1pm on a weekday. Free wifi. Prices are reasonable. Good vibe. Service staff was polite and friendly. Inside a cute little plaza, so parking can be a challenge.

A solitary Coffee shop in Old Kingston town, that warms your heart with positive vibes! I stepped into 'Creek Coffee' by accident, and immediately loved the ambience. Large spacious wood-finish cafĆ©, playing good music, Wi-Fi and ample power points to fire up your devices. Also, has a nice clean bathroom and an elaborate book-shelf to unwind. The Coffee is a standard size, but very well made along with a small selection of desserts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐My favorites are the CafĆ© Latteā˜•, Almond croissant and Carrot cake. The real anchor is their 'hospitality'. All the Baristas are very welcoming and cheerful, especially Ms. Yalda - who's very customer centric and knows how to brew the coffee well. These days, I often come from afar to spend quality time and would certainly recommend at visit, instead of the routine Tim's! Keep up the good work! šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘
