I recently had the pleasure of visiting Delhiites in Toronto, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations, leaving an enduring impression on my taste buds. The highlight of my visit, without a doubt, was their delectable Butter Chicken - a dish so fantastic that it deserves every praise it has received.

From the moment I stepped inside the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who exuded a genuine passion for customer satisfaction. The atmosphere was cozy, with dim lighting and tasteful decor that instantly made me feel both comfortable and eager to explore the menu offerings.

Upon the recommendation of both the server and previous patrons, I decided to indulge in their famed Butter Chicken. As a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, I had high expectations, but I can confidently say that with just one bite, I was captivated by the rich and vibrant flavors that danced harmoniously on my palate.

The key to a remarkable Butter Chicken lies in its balance of spices and smoothness of the sauce. The chicken itself was tender and succulent, perfectly marinated in a blend of aromatic spices that accentuated the flavors, creating an irresistible harmony of sweet, tangy, and savory. The sauce was a masterpiece - velvety, creamy, and packed with authentic Indian spices that made each mouthful an extraordinary culinary delight.

The accompaniments served with the Butter Chicken were equally delightful. The fragrant Basmati rice was perfectly cooked.

Furthermore, the service at Delhiites] was impeccable. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to explain the origin and ingredients used in each dish, heightening the overall dining experience. The attentiveness and warmth of the service truly made me feel like a valued guest.

In conclusion, if you are searching for an exceptional dining experience that encapsulates the essence of Indian cuisine, look no further...

This place had decent ambiance and good service to offer, but the food leaves you wanting for more. Scope for improvement on the food front is massive. We'd ordered -

  1. Veg Samosas - Being an Indian restaurant, one would expect them to serve handmade samosas, but it seemed like they serve the frozen ones we get at supermarkets. Way below average in terms of taste and quality. Quite disappointing to be honest. Even the chutney was way too thin without a lot of flavors.

  2. Chicken Shawarma - The taste of this item was as underwhelming as it gets. The chicken wasn't great, and neither was the stuffing inside it. There was no flavor to it. And on top of it, this Shawarma was the thinnest one we've ever had. For reference, it was less than 1/3rd of what you usually get at Chipotle for $13, and they charge the same. So once again, quite underwhelming.

  3. Chicken Biryani - The quantity was decent. It was more of a Pulav than Biryani because of the extreme lack of flavors. The chicken was soft and tender, which was the only half a decent part about this dish, but then again, it wasn't marinated, so it lacked everything it terms of taste. Despite the tenderness, we ended up not eating it because of the disappointing taste of Biryani.

All in all, this place leaves you wanting for more in absolutely every department of food, and especially for the price you pay. The service and people were nice, and that was the only saving grace in our opinion. Let's hope they make quick qualitative amendments so that people can enjoy the Indian cuisine that they love. Wish...

A solid journey to deliciousness

Delhiites, nestled in the heart of Toronto, is a culinary gem that transports you straight to the bustling streets of India. With its diverse menu, featuring a delightful blend of Indian and Hakka cuisine, it's a haven for food lovers seeking authentic flavors.

My recent visit was an absolute delight. I indulged in their mouthwatering butter chicken momos, a unique fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine. The pan-fried momos, plump and juicy, were smothered in a rich, creamy butter chicken gravy. It was a flavor explosion in every bite, leaving me craving more. To complement the momos, I also tried their samosas, crispy and flavorful, served with a tangy chutney.

The friendly and attentive staff added to the overall dining experience. They were meticulous in their service, ensuring every detail was taken care of. I look forward to my next visit to try more of their delicious options like their spicy Hakka chicken or any of their bowls.

Whether you're a seasoned Indian food enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Delhiites is a must-visit. With its diverse menu, impeccable service, and affordable prices, it's a hidden gem that deserves to...

If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors in downtown, Delhiites Indian Restaurant is a must-visit. The Afghani momos are absolutely the best – perfectly spiced and incredibly flavorful. The steamed momos are also really good, a great lighter option if you’re in the mood for something simple yet satisfying. One dish that truly stood out for me was the goat curry paired with rumali roti – rich, tender, and bursting with traditional spices. Easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Whether you’re Indian or simply love Indian cuisine, this spot will hit the mark. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place that serves authentic Indian Street food without comprising on the taste then Delhiites is a MUST VISIT! This is everything I ordered; 1. Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat 2. Malai Soy Chaap 3. Mango Lassi 4. Chicken Lollipop 5. Veg. Steamed Momos Honestly speaking you cannot go wrong with whatever you order. Currently they are running a special of 25% if you dine in at their restaurant before the 15th of November 2024. So make sure you make the most out of it!
