Had Kachchi Biriyani. Taste was so so. Some people eating there said, "only Shik Kabab is good here". Surprisingly the owner could not confirm whether the goat meat is really Halal. That is very shocking. Instead, he replied, "the person's name is Fahim whom he bought the goat meat from"! Seems these days we do not even fear Allah!!! Allahu Akbar.

None of the staffs at Dhaka Kitchen confirmed the "name of the meat suppliers" or the "name of the place where the goat meat was purchased". Finally the owner Mr. Shakil said, "the person's name is Fahim where the goat meat was purchased. But sometimes they go to different source depending on what pieces they require for that day!!" We were never told about the name "Herat Bazaar" until now on the review!! In fact, Mr. Shakil couldn't recall that name and said the supplier is near Markham road!! Therefore all staffs must be trained properly in this regard of Halal source. If Herat Bazar provides hand slaughtered meat as per the review responses, then "Dhaka Kitchen" can display a written certification from "Herat Bazar" about Halal authenticity - just like other Halal outlets do. We carried Yogurt Drink that is not sold at Dhaka Kitchen and asked directly to the owner Mr. Shakil whether we are allowed to have outside drink with the food we will purchase. Mr. Shakil immediately confirmed that wouldn't be a problem. Only then we took that out and put on the table. But now Dhaka Kitchen is pointing at having outside drink is against their policy!! This is another twist in Dhaka Kitchen's poor customer service!! It seems they say something on site and write something else online!! We must always be truthful. I wished we were advised at the first place that outside drink is not allowed and we could have simply purchased whatever was available there. This was our first visit at Dhaka Kitchen and of course last due to such a poor customer service. Allah is...

I went to this establishment for the first time on Friday,31st may. Very late not thinking too much of the food because of the timing. Still I checked the reviews & they were all positive. Upon arriving I was surprised to see that it was packed with people(it was already 2am) I am a Bengali guy & a foodie I am very picky about my regional cuisine. I ordered two kebabs, I forgot the name again, the daily special combo which was white rice with daal & murgir jhol. I was also craving fish so I took a rhui mach as well. Price wise it was very affordable. Taste wise, what can I say…just to the point which actually made me feel great about my culture’s food. The quantity of rice was great for just $10 with the daal & chicken. The kebabs were delicious & the fish, the chicken with daal reminded me of the local restaurants back at home. The staff were friendly as well. I went back again & tried the porota with reshmi kebabs with tea. Porota was soft, kebabs were also tasty. I ordered chicken biriyani & chicken roast with polao for takeout. Tried a bit of the chicken biriyani at home (yet to try the polao with roast) & to be honest for the price it’s great! I can say this would me my go to place from now on alongside another Bengali restaurant.

Very friendly people! Their combo deal of chicken/fish with rice & dal is super cheap & tasty! Shob darun but Kachchi tah…try kortei parchina. Today ordered by Uber eats , they are scammers !! They think okay order by Uber eats let's provide them left over. Rice is so so hard. 3 /4 piece tiny chiken meat maybe fall while cooking serving and warming! And guess what left they send it to me by Uber eats😡😡 With hardworking money paid for food what is tasteless, left over , meat portion missing from food ! Bangali hoyeo tai ekhon r bangla restaurant thaka khabar order korte mon chaina , noton hoye ekto poran holae same e kora sob restaurant, asole. I was so hungry ,Disappointed 🥺😡 Edit review for reply: Boneless biryani really : First of all guys please check on ubereats where is the menu boneless chiken biryani !? There is only chiken biryani option with picture provided with leg pcs ✅️right?? So who is telling lie and making stories?? Online order: maybe before you care about customer even i eat so many times but now big No! Rice is leftover, I can cook so I know OK. It's so oily and hard! Delivery issue: hey not false disputes is submitted, what i write here missing meat portion get rice rice rice same thing mentioned on uber eats. I have proof also. Final note: If someone didn't cooked that day and order that' mean he or she is waiting for the food , but when you got hard leftover rice and boneless 3/4 pcs meat like total meat portion was like one tablesspoon and meat also so dry and hard with paying $15.99 it's really disappointed. And For God's sake it's not fair. And if you are doing it continuously you will definitely loose customer. you are talking about fair and God right so Try to be honest. And it's my right if I am disappointed or happy with the service and product I can provide...
