Disaster. My 15 year old son went in to get peanut buster parfaits, and was told by the staff he needed to add the dairy Queen app on his phone. He added the app, and then went back and the staff said they didn't know how to work the app. He didn't know how to work the app since he had just added it moments ago, because he was told to do so by the staff. He didn't order the peanut buster parfaits because the staff didn't know how to do so. We left Dairy Queen with nothing but a bad taste in our mouth.
The worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant and their app ever. To force my son to add an app to make the purchase and then when the staff is incapable of using the app themselves was shocking. To let him leave without purchasing peanut buster parfaits was head-scratching.
Why does he need to add an app to his phone, in the first place, to purchase peanut buster parfaits at a restaurant?
Why does the staff not know how to thereafter use the app in order to complete the purchase? They must know that the person who has just been forced to add the app is not going to know how to use the app.
If the staff doesn't know how to use the app, how can a patron be expected to use the app, when they have added the app moments ago.
I have been eating peanut buster parfaits since the early 1970s. I am flabbergasted at what occured. Who at Dairy Queen created a situation where what occured to my son today could even be a remote possibility.
Dairy Queen, you...

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and excellent service. The staff was attentive and patient, taking the time to explain the various menu options and specials.
I decided to try their famous Blizzard and was not disappointed. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, with generous mix-ins that were perfectly blended. It was the perfect treat for a hot day!
The store was clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Whether you're stopping by for a quick treat or taking your time to enjoy your dessert, this location offers a comfortable environment.
Additionally, the service was prompt, even though the place was busy. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in what they do and aims to provide the best experience for their customers.

Read moreExcellent system for servicing their clients during this challenging COVID-19 pandemic times. The St. Clair/Pharmacy Ave. DQ has many employees on shift to enable smooth and timely transition from the moment an order is placed to when it is received by the customer. The staff is courteous, friendly and efficiently executes their processes. I was pleasantly surprised to see the employee use hand sanitizer after handling cash although wearing gloves before moving on to the next task...I would have preferred a change of gloves but that is not environmentally friendly. One suggestion to be made is that DQ could create a better space for customers waiting for their order while still maintaining...
