I have been coming here for a couple years now pizza is great but the lady behind the counter is rude and to be honest I just don't think she wants to work more worried about going home at 10pm mean while that's what time the restaurant closes at. 2 times in 1 week this happened on Sat June 12, 2021 Dino's says there open tell 11pm I called at 1015pm to order and when I called the women says kitchen is closed and on June 17,2021 I called again to order at 9:20pm when I was right outside Dino's pizza and that same women says where closed again and at that time Dino's should be open tell 10pm. I know everyone wants to go home after a long day at work but why say your open tell 11pm or 10pm if your really not make no sense. If you go to pizza pizza or pizza nova or any of the other pizza places this would never happen, if those other pizza places say 1am then it's 1am. What happened to me is when you have people running your business that don't care and don't know what there doing and running this business in to the ground. Who ever owns Dino's pizza should be so mad that almost 2 hours of wasted sales time is being stolen from the owner it takes 4 mins for Dino's to make a pizza so if this is happening everyday closing early look how much sales the company is losing over the years time. I won't come here anymore no point if you try to order again they will probably say their closed. If you say you close at 10pm why not say 9pm then when you close at 920pm it looks like you actually care about your customers and you stayed open an extra 20 mins instead of saying you close at 10pm but really you close at 9pm. The owner is a nice guy and I would bet money he didn't approve of this. Edit Btw this is the Queensway location not the Kipling location I made the mistake when writing...
Read more8:pm, finished a sit down pizza dinner with my wife and daughters, at Dino’s Wood Burning Pizza - 871 Kipling, in South Etobicoke, and couldn’t wait to send in a review. Finally!!!…. an old fashion pizzeria that reminds me of my childhood in the College St. neighbourhood of Little Italy, back in the early 80’s A family owned business where Gunay, and her daughters, Shiela and “the shy one” (so cute) welcomed us in as if we were family. Super clean and humble atmosphere, kind staff and an excellent pizza maker, making pizza pie’s worth the wait. The taste of fresh toppings on our XL - a real XL pizza, I might add, 1/2 Siciliana (Tomato Sauce, Green Olives, Anchovies, Sausage Olive Oil & Basil) and the other 1/2 al pollo (Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Chicken, Mushrooms, Red Onions & Oregano) was deliciously delightful. The dough was thin, light and crispy with barely any droop, the toppings were generous and the undercarriage of that pie was cooked to perfection. Hands down, if I could give 6 stars I would. 5/5 ⭐️
I ordered from this restaurant on UberEats, ordering a Deal One that includes a medium pizza, wings, garlic bread, a caesar salad, and two pops. I also ordered an additional medium pizza. I’m not sure if the restaurant staff are just unfamiliar with the deals that they have on Uber, but they missed an entire pizza from my order. I work in a restaurant with the Uber aggregator as well, and so I know from personal experience that the staff need to be aligning the cost on the app with the cost on their till. They clearly didn’t do this.
I even attempted to call right at 10pm when I discovered that my order was incomplete to see if I could come pick up the remaining item in my order, but they shut their phones down and all I could get was the voicemail. I think it’s unacceptable that a restaurant doesn’t accept calls even a minute after their closing time. I know there is someone still in the building closing up the restaurant.
The food was great, but I’m just so disappointed in the lack of care in packing my order. It doesn’t set a good...
