Such a cute café. The staff were very hospitable, and the croissant was delicious. Everything you want in a café. There was a kid playing some games. Since it is a very small café, be aware that there might be loud noises people talking on their phone or kids playing, which is not an issue because it’s not the library. So if you’re looking for a super quiet café, come here super early when no one‘s there but if you’re going to read a book, maybe put on your headphones because I was talking on the phone from business meeting, which is normal to take out a café and the lady next to me reading a book give me very dirty looksI wanted to tell her to go to the library because it’s a café cafés are meant to talk about life and celebrate and work over a cup of coffee which is exactly what people do in Europe!
You’re looking for a café that’s a real café then this is the place for you in South Etobicoke if you’re looking to read a book and go to your public library!
And stop telling people to hush in public ! It’s more rude to tell someone to be quiet at a café, but if you want to do any hushing, go to the library or courthouse
Other than the vibe, the energy and the food ! Enjoy the place and enjoy the conversation conversations over a couple of coffee at this super cute one...
Read moreAbsolute local gem. The food here is terrific. I've tried their baguette, sourdough, butter tarts, cookies, croissants, chocolate covered dates and kouign amann. I haven't been disappointed in anything and everyone I've shared food with is always impressed. The selection is pretty vast in the morning but they do sell out by the evening so if you want anything specific you can order ahead or show up early. The kouign amann is a real highlight, as I've never seen it anywhere else. Easily in my top 3 desserts I've ever tasted and I highly recommend it to everyone in the area. The service is great too. I had asked for a pack of butter tarts with a specific combination and the guy who helped me (sorry I didn't catch your name!) put together a new box for me no questions asked. Love, love, love this place and hope they keep doing what...
