DoDoner — Restaurant in Toronto

I didn’t even end up ordering, I went in with my son , we are standing in line , I watch the employees closely wherever I eat . Buddy rang up the people in front of me , goes back to start there food no gloves , no washing of hands , just finishes at the till and picked up the bag of bread no gloves bam takes it tossed on the flat top . Sorry not sorry , I understand this is not a 5 star restaurant but the basic food safety handling guide line have to be followed, needless to say I said out loud “well ok this is not happening “ we walked out didn’t eat anything , I’ll never go in again , sad I live 2 minutes from here and now can’t and won’t ever go back in , I cant imagine what’s happening behind the scenes if they are so nonchalantly doing thing wrong right in front of you . I randomly came across this restaurant on Uber eats and so I decided to try it out. I’m so happy that I did, the food was so delicious!

I ordered the chicken doner box with the salad and rice plus a pita and extra hummus and it was so good! The portion size was quite big as well. I ate half the box with the pita for my dinner and the other half for my lunch the next day. The next day it was still as tasty! The garlic sauce was also sooo good, I love garlic.

Also it ended up being around $18, but seeing as it lasted me 2 meals, it’s a really good deal. I will definitely be going back but maybe I’ll try the beef next time because that also looked good!

Absolutely phenomenal! This shawarma take-out place exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail of my order was perfect.
