Came through on a Sunday and got sat right at the front—gorgeous view, honestly. The restaurant was kinda quiet when we rolled in, but the vibe was still super warm and welcoming. Service was on point right from the start.

Okay but this place?? I’m obsessed. The food is next level—like, everything we ordered was straight fire. We started with the tuna, the beef tartare, and the peach salad, and all three were amazing. Super fresh, super flavourful—perfect way to kick things off.

For mains, we went all in: pizza (obviously), the spicy pasta, and the short ribs. And let me just say—the short ribs?? I think I’m in love. Fall-apart tender, so rich and perfectly cooked… I’m still thinking about them, honestly.

But what really makes this place shine is the service. Huge shoutout to the manager Eric and our AMAZING server, Cori. She was such a gem—great energy, awesome recommendations, and just made the whole experience feel so fun and easy. My two out-of-town guests were seriously blown away.

Also, the ambiance? Chef’s kiss. The space is so beautifully decorated—it’s giving cozy vintage meets clean and classic. The gallery wall? Stunning. It’s got this really homey, lived-in feel, but still feels super polished and intentional. If you’re into aesthetics, this place is a whole mood.

And yes, I have to talk about the bathrooms. They’re all individual and private, totally gender-neutral, and honestly? So well done. Beautiful wallpaper, super clean, fully stocked—you can tell they really care about every detail, even the ones people usually overlook.

Now the pizza. THE. PIZZA. Absolutely unreal. The crust, the toppings, the dips?? Life-changing. Even if you’re not dining in, I’d 100% recommend grabbing a pizza for takeout. It’s genuinely some of the best I’ve had—like, ever.

All in all, this place has officially become my new neighbourhood fave. Might be a little biased, but I swear this is the best restaurant on Queen West. Can’t wait to...

My first time here was today on a recommendation. First off, the host needs to put thought into where to seat a walk in. I got plunked into a table that was wholly inadequate. I was moved to a much more adequate table after I asked. It is not appropriate to just discard a walk in to some obscure table without due care and consideration. Second, the staff do not know the wines, in that they are asked questions about aspects of the various wines and they have to leave the customer, go find out, and then report back to the customer. This is embarrassing. If you sell wine by the glass or bottle - ALL of your serving staff need to know each wine. There is simply no excuse for not knowing. The serving staff could be more outgoing and more genuine. Most of the staff I encountered were fake nice and really could not care less. Food was just ok, service was just so so. Enormous areas for improvement. Just because a location is packed with people does not mean your are doing it right and well. People will eat at Denny’s. This place has the potential to be great, but they are far from it and got too comfy just going through the motions and never understanding how to properly service customers. Again - so much room for improvement, that is unless being mediocre is your goal.

June 12, 2022 - service definitely could have been better and why are portions so tiny? Ordered the quiche at brunch and got a tiny slice. People should not have to order 3 brunch items off the menu to feel full and satisfied. Let’s up those portion sizes and get wait staff to be more attentive ( and knowledgeable...

Okay where do I start? My friend and I went during brunch. I was not expecting what I experienced when I walked up to this place. A friend and I picked it randomly just as a change from out notmal routine. When I first walked in it looked like a quaint little retro bakery or shop. Boy oh boy do they get you lol. When you enter the dinning area its so rustic and beautiful. It gives old gentlemen cigar club vibes. Armchairs and leather banquets for seating is so cozy its unreal. The service is amazing our server was able to suggest things to us geared to what we were telling her not just rattling off specials like other places. Another thing I appreciated was that she asked about allergies. Asked...without being prompted...I was so happy as I have a severe Shellfish allergy that I forget to mention sometimes (a lot of the time). The manager David was so warm and inviting not to mention attentive. He was making small talk with the patrons and just added to the already delightful atmosphere. As for the food, the menu is a nice fusion of italian, Thai, and Mexican. It sounds like a lot but is done so well it just makes sense. The seasonings were on point. Key thing fire burning oven!! It makes all the difference. There are non dairy options for coffee which was much appreciated. You're not rushed to eat so that they can turn over the table, its all very natual. Feels like your at a friends dining room table. All around 10/10 definitely recommend!

Dishes tried:

Steak and eggs Huevos rancheros Fire roasted sourdough with balsamic and olive oil Latte...
