Energy Shack Juice bar — Restaurant in Toronto

I have been a cx at the Energy Shack for yrs, from their old location to now. I have tried a detox a handful of times and I really enjoy their vegan treats. I decided to try the “Go Deeper” detox (3 day), I preordered the detox on a Thursday morning but wasn’t able to pick it up that day (a Thursday) due to the weather. Bc the detox was already prepped the owner called and suggested I pay via email and pick it up on Friday morning. That the juice wouldn’t be as fresh for the last day (3rd day), Sunday… so I can come back for a fresh batch (Sunday morning) to finish the detox. I had no problems coming back.

Sunday morning, I got the juice that had my name on it, the juice that I thought was suppose to be the last or only one for the detox. I went to work and got home pretty late, when I looked over the pdf form of instructions I was missing a juice called “Power House”. I decided to wait the next day a Monday to reach out about the missing product. I left a text msg w/ photos..(bc we had spoke via text Thursday night.. the night I pre ordered) and I also called.. Not 1 person has taken the time to reach out, follow up and find out the situation…. I just wanted to do it right and follow the instructions they gave me, especially bc I paid $159 for the package and missed one. It feels like if I was purchasing something I would have gotten a response MUCH faster, like Thursday night. I’m actually a little taken back and disappointed by the lack of interest in a cx concern. I have never had any issues with the owner or anyone there. I feel like I didn’t get the FULL benefits of the 3 detox and I’m pretty annoyed by that. This review is based on the service of the place. What makes any food places great in is the service they provide.

I know sometimes things can happen such as an oven breaking down or a coffee machine isn't working but at least an employee or manager has told me up front or has compensated with a free dessert or coffee without even asking.

Today I came into this vegan place with my friend just cause I was excited that there's a new vegan place in Scarborough.

When we first got there, it was only the two of us. Nobody else was there so we ordered our drinks which we got and ordered our food from the own net while another couple just arrived at the place.

I ordered a kale salad and my friend orders Asian rolls which the owner mentioned there might be a 10 minute wait which we were okay with since she was the one making them.

We'll the 10 minutes turned to over 30 minutes because the owner was too busy chatting away with the couple who came after us and their salads and soups were made and served before our order even though we ordered first.

Truly not happy about that because the minute the couple came in that store, she was focused on talking to them the whole time.

I don't mind the talking but if you have customers waiting for their order then that should be the first priority instead of chatting away.

I ended up cancelling my salad because it was too long of a wait. It's doesn't take over 30 minutes to prepare a salad especially when you prep the veggies.

I only had their aloha omega smoothie which I would give a 3 out of 5.

I started going to this juice after my wife told me about it, I did research on juicing and the results were amazing but I couldn't make the juice because of the ingredients involved for example how much water do you require? Or do you use purified water so I decided to invest and investigate this miracle drink and so my journey began each chance I got after paying my bills with the saving I would purchase my juice iron rich this juice gave me what i needed to help me through out the day plus I never drank pop because all my nutrients were in this juice, it helped me to reduce my weight. Moving forward I joined Dumas after getting my body scanned and finding results it was going to the energy shack to see my guru Carylyn at the energy shack were she designed a meal plan to help me cut down and eat properly.No more meat, fish or diary products, eat the pure things in life this way your cholesterol and your blood pressure are no longer the main factor, this way you build this amazing energy inside you, your able to do things your body is alive the flow of blood is flowing all around . Now the best advice given to me was pray to the lord and he will do all he can as you follow your guidelines to a better health. My lord comes in two forms my lord who hasgiven me life and this wonderful woman who has created my new life to move forward and be a happy vegan for life. Thank you so much...
