I’m really quite upset about my experience with his restaurant and particularly this location. I ordered a fairly larger meal consisting of a Bombay chicken, Spicy garlic chicken, two fried spicy calamari, pineapple chicken rice and Shanghai chicken noodles as well as a few drinks on the side. When I got the food delivered it was missing my drinks which upset me cause I had ordered for guests and now I had nothing to serve them. On top of that the calamari was soggy as it was fried in such a THICK layer of batter! No where on the distribution did it say it was it was battered. I found that to be extremely misleading as the photos lacked this as well. However, at the moment all I could deal with were my missing items. So I called the delivery driver and he informed me the restaurant didn’t even give him drinks. So I called the restaurant hoping to get it resolved. The man who answered really had no care about what I was asking for. I simply wanted my items so me and my guests could enjoy our food. He told me there’s nothing he can do as he didn’t handle my order. I told him no worries, can someone just bring me my drinks. He told me again no, instead that I indicate on the app I didn’t get it and then order again. ORDER AGAIN! Order again so I can be charged another delivery fee and more for a mistake made by your restaurant. I asked to speak with a manager, he told me there wasn’t one. (How convenient in the middle of the day no one was managing their staff) Now I was annoyed, he really didn’t care and just wanted me off the phone. So I said I’m really dissatisfied with the service I’m receiving. You know what he told me, he said if you’re dissatisfied then put a review, which is what I’m doing right now. I read the many reviews before mine and a majority of them said this place had great customer service and food. After this experience I will never buy from this place, they don’t care. All they want is your money. They’re nothing but deceivers and thief’s. I do not recommend...

I recently ordered from Hakka Legend for a New Year’s dinner gathering with friends, and unfortunately, I was left deeply disappointed. I had high hopes for this meal, especially since I ordered in large quantity to ensure everyone would be well-fed. Sadly, the experience was far from what I expected.

The rice was the first letdown. It was poorly cooked—underseasoned, unevenly cooked, and some grains were still hard. It seemed like it had been rushed, lacking the soft, fluffy texture you expect from a well-prepared dish. It was almost inedible, and definitely not something I would want to serve at a gathering.

Next, the Chicken Chilli was an even bigger disappointment. The dish was completely bland and lacked any real flavor. What should have been a fiery, savory delight was nothing more than a bowl of onions with a few pieces of chicken tossed in. The lack of seasoning and depth made it taste like it had been thrown together without any thought. It was hard to believe this was the same restaurant that people rave about.

To make matters worse, we found three hairs in the food we ordered. That was incredibly frustrating and made the entire experience even worse. Finding hair in your meal is a dealbreaker, especially when you're trying to enjoy a special dinner with friends.

Given that I ordered such a large quantity for my friends, this made the whole situation worse. We were all looking forward to a flavorful, satisfying meal, but instead, we ended up feeling let down. I left Hakka Legend upset and embarrassed for having recommended it to my friends. It’s frustrating to spend money on a meal that falls so short of expectations, especially when you’re trying to make a special occasion memorable. I won’t be coming back...

Hakka( KeJia) in Chinese characters literally mean "guest families". It related ethnic groups is Chinese Han, In a series of migrations from northern Chinese provinces , the Hakkas moved and settled in their present areas in Southern China, as early as 4th century. Nowadays Hakkas are usually identified with people who either speak the Hakka language or share at least some Hakka ancestry.

The Hakka's cuisine are the basically the same as other areas of the Han nationality. The Hakkas inherit the traditions of their ancestral homes, this has formed the characteristics of "salty, oilly" ,( Nowadays it turn in to more healthy lifestyle, lightly salt and oil had been used.)Therefore, the Hakkas have strong environmental adaptability and a special food culture, which is famous in China. Absorb the many dietary characteristics of the places where they migrated, and are more adept at integrating with the indigenous peoples of the settlements. This has formed the richness of the Hakka diet. Hakka's recipes include both, sweet and sour dishes in the Shanghai surrounding regions, spicy foods from the Sichuan surrounding region, and pickled vegetables from the Hokkien(Fujian) and Canton (GuangDong) regions.

The Hakka Legend also is a Halal food provider, their foods have mix styles of above mentioned. Chilli...

Recently visited Hakka Asian Cuisine, they offer a mixed dining experience with notable strengths in service but room for improvement in the food department. We began with the Chicken Lollipop and Shrimp Wonton as starters. While the Chicken Lollipop was crispy, it lacked the bold flavors we anticipated, and the Shrimp Wonton, though well-cooked, left to leave a lasting impression. For the main course, we tried the Singapore Rice, which was generously topped with seafood, including crabs, shrimps, and calamari. The freshness and quantity of the seafood were commendable, but the dish fell short on flavor, feeling somewhat bland and unbalanced. There was a slight absence of some gravy in every variety, so we ordered chicken manchurian which was absolutely delicious, being the starters dish of the night. The highlight of our visit was the attentive and efficient service. The staff was friendly, quick to respond, and ensured a seamless dining experience, which significantly elevated the overall impression of the restaurant. While Hakka Asian Cuisine shows potential, particularly in its generous portions and excellent service, the food could use more attention to seasoning and flavor to stand out. It’s a decent option for casual dining. Cheers !
