My son ordered a premium airsoft gun. We are not new to airsoft & he knew the product he wanted. The 2 day shipping took 6 days but that is more on Canada Post...but it shouldn't be listed as 2 days shipping. This issue could be overlooked. When he received the product the box was not in perfect condition on the outside & worse on the inside. Upon putting a battery in the gun it did not fire. The red wire was actually not attached to the tamiya plug. Upon further review you can see wear on the bolt from rubbing. So was this gun used & returned? Was the gun a demo model? We don't live near the retail store location. When you spend close to $600.00 on an airsoft gun it should work...it should be in brand new condition, or sold as a demo. I tried to call the company but had to leave a voice message.
Update: Badlands did email my son back
They offered to ship another model...but he would have to pay for shipping. so to summarize....they shipped him a gun that wouldn't shoot due the positive wire not connected to the battery terminal in a box that was lightly damaged on the outside & worst on the inside. This was a high end gun ($741.00 spent on this order). Why on earth would we pay more money to get the product ordered in working condition. They claimed the boxes get damaged getting shipped from europe. that this gun wasn't opened or a demo. My family isn't new to airsoft. I counted 9 gun boxes at my house & inspected all of them inside & out and none had damage. My son doesn't want to wait. We took the gun to a tech & had the connector replaced on a brand new gun. I working in logistics & transportation, and have years of customer service. This was a horrible experience. In the very least they should have shipped a new gun expedited (that worked) to replace the brand new gun that didn't function out of the box....and sent a return shipping tag. As is standard business practice for just about any E commerce retailer. You cannot( it seems) talk to a person if you have issues with this business. They didn't ask for photos of the box or product. They were quick to respond to the negative google review....but didn't offer any good resolution unless we paid more money. E commerce relies on trust that the company you are doing business will ship you the product in good condition....or at the very least stand behind the product and take care of the customer if something is not right. I will not be recommending this vendor to anyone in my airsoft community. They will not get anymore of my...
Read moreFirst time I went and approached this megastore through calling from overseas, I told them upfront I was expecting not buy anything and i can use their website if i ever needed to buy something..
I told the staff I already had won a raffle (free v12 hpa engine) first time playing airsoft. The staff took time out of selling and they stayed on the phone with me (even though there were 'real ' customers) to walk me through the basics. I then called back from overseas and placed a order.
I told them that i just wanted to learn more about teching and how i want to inprove my gun. Rommel told me about all the parts i need to make my gun work. I bought a 16" outer barrel gun with all its outer casing components. Now i can get my 455mm inner barrel inside without using a wobbly compensator. Shipping and everything was all super good price (only $100) and they take really good care of their customers.
Probably the best place to shop and talk, i wish to go visit them soon. They have a huge selection of product to look at and buy. The staff are nice with a great personality. Best airsoft store in the world to buy airsoft stuff from %100, specially with overseas discount...
Read moreFirst time visitor today! I really didn't know what to expect. I had done some research about airsoft but had a million questions. The location was easy to find with GPS and there were signs posted on the street bc it looked like I was headed to a dead end street, but nope! Look for the signs as it is directly facing HWY 401 so you have to pull around to the front. I was hoping I would luck out and have a good customer service experience. And I did! I'm taking the time to leave a review because I was so impressed with the service I received from Chris. I went in with my teenage son and learnt a lot about the sport, the accessories needed and about how they're made, the purpose of different styles and features. Chris was open to every question I threw at him and he passed no judgment, which I appreciated, since being a mom and not too particularly interested in airsoft, but needed to ask a whole bunch of questions regarding regulation, safety, importing into Canada, etc. We left without buying anything, but I know that we will become regular customers for all of our airsoft sporting needs. I like that they're open weekends!! Thanks Chris....
