Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Toronto

This place lacks 2 VERY important things ; knowledge of products and basic hand hygiene. I decided to stop by during my lunch hour as I work in the area. I was really craving Queso and chips, so I walked in, and the first thing I asked the young guy at the front was if he infact carried Queso if I bought the chips. He stated yes they did. Okay, I proceeded to order a combo with a burrito, chips, and a drink. While my order was being prepared, I watched the other employee, a young Indian lady handling some food. She then started cleaning the area, grabbed a marker, wrote some things down, put some things in the fridge then went and handled more food, all without washing her hands. Luckily, she never handled my food, or I would have asked for a refund and left. The employee who took my order did handle my food with gloves ( thank God!). However, I asked him about the queso a 2nd time, and he said he would put some in the bag. When he handed me my meal, I looked in the bag and saw there was no queso so I asked him about it and he looked lost. I then asked him if he even knew what Queso was and thats when the other employee told me they didnt carry queso. Why would you say yes 2 times if you don't know what it is? You would think that by working at a Mexican inspired restaurant, you would have some knowledge about the cuisine you are serving, but he obviously didn't. The truth is if he had told me in the beginning when I asked him about the queso that their wasn't any, I would have walked out because that's what I came for. The guacamole was very bland, no flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone. 1st and LAST time...

Ordered from this location through a food delivery app. I ordered a naked burrito bowl and when I opened it, I was very surprised at the tiny portion. I ordered the chicken regular size. There was barely a handful of lettuce, not much cheese and barely any sour cream (even though I asked for extra sour cream!). However there was A LOT of salsa/sauce and it was horrible; extremely watery but also spicy - not sure how that worked out. By the time I received my food (the restaurant is only about 2.5 kms from my job) the vegetables (lettuce, green onion and cilantro) were soggy and the paper container the food came in was wet at the bottom and leaking actually. The chicken itself was very bland and nothing special. Worst burrito/bowl I've ever had and I will never order from here or go to this...

Very good burritos! And their churro chips are so delicious! However, the restaurant is obviously very understaffed. We placed an order ahead online. The website said it would be 20-30 minutes. When we placed an order, we received a text saying the order would be ready in an hour. Once we arrived in an hour, we still had to wait another 25 minutes, watching two poor ladies busting themselves among endless online and in-person orders on Friday night. I don't think I've ever seen anyone working that fast. And they still got the order right. But watching them struggle like that was painful. Not to mention that the dining area itself was very dirty because no one simply had time to attend to it. Overall: good food, good staff,...
