I finally got around to trying Good Behaviour Ice Cream after hearing so many people talk about it. Overall, it was a good experience, but honestly, I didn’t find anything that really stood out as special or unforgettable.
First off, the location is great — super easy to get to, and the outdoor seating area is such a nice touch, especially in the summer. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or just enjoy a cone on a warm evening. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and it definitely has that local neighborhood feel that makes you want to support them.
They have a pretty big variety of flavors, which I always appreciate. There’s something for everyone, and it’s clear they put effort into offering interesting options beyond the usual basics. That said, while the flavors were good, none of them really wowed me or made me feel like I had discovered something amazing.
When you’re paying a premium price for ice cream, you expect that extra punch — whether it’s ultra-creamy texture, bold and unique flavors, or just something memorable that makes you crave it again. For me, Good Behaviour just didn’t quite hit that mark. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really blew me away.
That being said, I still enjoyed my visit. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the overall experience was pleasant. I’d definitely go back if I’m nearby or already in the area, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way or make a special trip just for this ice cream.
All in all, it’s a solid spot, especially if you’re looking for a fun summer hangout or want to try a few new flavors. Just don’t go in expecting to be completely blown away, and you’ll have...
Read moreGood Behaviour is a small charming shop that serves ice cream and submarines. The big open window and high ceiling design is quite attractive.
I learned from the store manager (Mike?) that their ice cream is made from a custard like base, i.e., they use egg yolks and more cream.
For a Yelp Elite event, I received a complimentary two scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone (unfortunately the cone is not made inhouse but the ice ream is made inhouse). One scoop of lavender earl grey and one scoop of tiramisu. The lavender earl grey blew me away - talk about creativity and originality. The flavour combination was unique, strong and not too sweet. The lavender and earl grey was bold and in my face in a good way - natural tasting and nothing artificial. The tiramisu had strong coffee flavour but I found it a bit too sweet for my liking. The ice cream texture is silky smooth, almost like soft serve but with more integrity. However, in the summer heat, it melts quick - quicker than "traditional" ice cream .
I saw many people come and purchase submarines. I couldn't help but try one for myself. I opted for the caprese (fior di latte cheese, basil pesto, aged balsamic, black pepper, arugula). The sesame bread used comes from a local bakery. All the ingredients tasted fresh; it was an enjoyable sandwich that I devoured in 6 or...

My experience: there's no indoor seating but there are cute benches to sit outside, a nice open window concept and cute little gift shop with unique items from food to good behaviour merch. The service was exceptional, very personable gentlemen working here who are knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions without hesitation.
I tried the mushroom sub and it was delicious. The pickled eggplant mixed with the melted cheese and bread and other veggies is sooooo good...crave worthy. My boyfriend had the brisket one and he said he'd be back and loved it. We thought they'd be smaller than they actually are and they're well topped with the ingredients. A bit messy but absolutely worth it.
We also got the ice cream flight which has 5 flavours/scoops ..it's a lot for two ppl but we finished it! All of the flavours were really good and unique. The matcha cookies and cream and peanut butter were my favorite. I heard the bourbon tart is really good and s'mores is chocolate ice cream if you want that. The fruit sorbets seem really good but my boyfriend isn't a fan so didn't...
