Good place for lettuce and some greens but quite expensive for some vegetables. Often they're out of eggs and bread.
They don't carry pork products which is inconvenient if you're looking for that.
They carry a lot of interesting sauces and oils.
I purchased some popcorn on sale (one of those 2 for $7 or $8 deals) and the popcorn smelled and tasted bad, like maybe plasticky or that it was popped amongst burnt popcorn. I suppose that's a problem of the manufacturer Angie's boom chica pop but I'd expect the store to know the product they're selling. I no longer have the receipt so I didn't bother trying to refund but I am apprehensive of trusting any of their deals. They also have a big "no refunds / final sale" sign so maybe they know they're selling bad discounted stuff and don't care.
This store has the potential to be awesome but they need better quality control, need to keep common items in stock better, and maybe think about having more competitive pricing for the fresh stuff, and improve the loyalty program (why am I losing points after spending $30?).
Staff are always friendly and helpful when looking for products, though I don't trust them to bag my groceries without crushing the delicate stuff. Came home to the most expensive cucumbers I've ever purchased being crushed because of how the girl bagged them. Just bag your own groceries and it'll be fine.
I spent $29 and got 2 points deducted instead of earned.. is it because I returned 2 empty milk bottles? Only program where you lose points for making a purchase and...
Read moreAs a regular customer, I am disappointed by the lack of customer service I was provided yesterday when coming into the store. On Monday, I had purchased these protein shakes that I typically buy from Healthy Planet. When I first opened one of them, I noticed that the consistency was off and something was wrong with the products shelf life quality. At the time of purchase I did not take a receipt because I did not think I would have to return some thing that I typically have on the regular. I came back in and I did have a bank statement showing that I purchased the product , and it was 10000000% from this location as it’s the only location I go to. Apparently the store ‘could not locate where or when I purchased this item’ even though it was clearly on the day that I told them with proof of payment etc.. Very strange, and I feel like they said this on purpose to deter me from requesting a refund. They were trying to say I purchased it from the Mississauga location which I’ve never been to. Now I’m out almost $40 on products that inedible and that have gone bad and this location could care less about quality control. Disappointing that I will have to try to find a different place to shop at...
Read moreEach time I have been to this location, the price at the front counter is more then the price on the shelf. Also each time I have been to this location at least one of my items are not in their computer's database thus they haft to look around and find it before they can charge me (this wouldn't bother me once in a while but each time i go, please input your inventory properly) . Last time I went, they tried to charge me 3 times for one bottle of cold/flu medication. After telling the clerk that the numbers did not add up she said I was wrong and that I did not calculate the tax.... I then had to point out on her computer screen that she had charged me 3 times for the same product. I get instance of poor customer service from them too often to say go down and shop your heart out.
My last gripe is with their website, it does not give local stock. Good thing for them that most of their competitors do not either.
The redeeming quality of this store is that they do have hard to find stuff. But most of the time you don't actually need the hard to find product anyway. Its just something that has been popularized by affluent culture and has no bearing on your quality...
