The drinks taste watered down and are way over priced. When asked about it the server played it off like the ice must have melted fast but our cups still had all the ice.
The server seemed very standoffish, resting b** face is an understatement with the server we had.
We placed our order and our child was served and we still waited 20+ minutes without being served our order.
Finally the food comes out and there is a hair cooked into my wings. I pointed it out to the server she said "yeah and" and I said there is a hair in my food, she then proceeded to tell me to pick it out and that it was probably just from the chicken. I refused and said no there is a hair in the wings and she asked me "well what do you want me to do about it?" Obviously that's not the answer you give to a customer. When I asked for it to be replaced she took the tray and said "it's from the chicken". I don't know what chicken she is looking at but I've never seen a chicken with long brown hair. They're so nonchalant about hair in food like it's a regular occurrence and you should just pick it out.
It only took 10 minutes to get my replacement order but the original wing order took closer to 40 minutes to come out and had the wrong sauce, i didnt complain but when replaced still came out with the wrong sauce. Our child had their food for almost 30 minutes before we had ours so by the time our meals came out their food was cold.
Not once did any server even ask how the food was, the only reason our server even came over about the hair is cause we had to wave her over and even then she tried to ignore us.
How this place has such high ratings is beyond me. Definitely a disappointment and based on the service here I'm shocked they're still in business it's embarrassing.
Also those high church pews for benches are probably the least comfortable seating that could have been chosen.
I'd never come to this place again, pure trash and a waste of money. I would have been better off setting the $85 I spent on fire.
Save yourself from the unsanitary food and really rude service, go...
Read moreThis was my first time here after patios began to reopen. We seated ourselevs at a high-top and the patio itself wasn't busy at all with TSN playing on the T.V overhead. Our server Chelsea was super friendly and made wonderful reccomendations for wing flavours and dips.
First off, I ordered a Ceaser made by another staff member Victoria. I asked for it extra spicy. I kid you not this was best ceaser hands down I ever had. It was seasoned and spiced to perfection just the way I love it. 10/10.
My partner and I selected the fried brussel sprouts served with a side of ranch dip and the coconut breaded shrimp served with a mango curry dip. Chelsea mentioned the owner was in the kitchen this day when she brought out a HEAPING pile of b.sprouts. More than the normal serving. So thank you to the owners for that wonderful surprise. The shrimp was delicious and crispy.
For our mains, we orderd the all dressed jumbo ribs (2 pcs) and a pound of Spicy Stampede wings. We also ordered another 1lb of Sweet and Spicy Blue Cheese. The ribs were melt in your mouth DELICIOUS and really are fall off the bone. They are also HUGE so order wisely. My hot wings were fantastic, although next time I'll order something spicier for a challenge. The wings themselves are geneorously sized and quite meaty in comparison to a lot of other wing places where the wings are dinky and nearly gone in one bite. Yes, prices are steeper but I can't complain because the quality here is far superior than any place I've been to thus far. You get what you pay for.
All in all this was a fantastic experience and I will be returning. Once again, big thanks to the front of house staff. You ladies were so nice and made our experience that...
Read moreI had visited this restaurant many, many years ago and tonight, on a whim while transiting thru Mississauga, I searched for chicken wings places and this one popped up. So I decided to visit again.
And boy am I glad it did!
I ordered a pound of wings with BBQ sauce, carrots and blue cheese on the side. I was told the wings came with 1 carrot sticks and 1 celery stock, but that wasn't enough for me (thought I), so I ordered a side of carrots.
The food was GREAT!
First up was the carrots. And there were a LOT of them! Probably 16 sticks, maybe more....I lost count. I didn't think I could eat them all but my waitress suggested I just work thru it and take home whatever I didn't eat. Well, I did just that except then there weren't any to take home!!
The carrots were accompanied by some truly tasty blue cheese sauce. No lumps (which I missed a little) but very smooth and with a hint of sweet. I liked it so much I ordered a 3rd helping đ
And for the main course, the best BBQ sauce on wings I have tasted in 40 years. I am serious. I have been searching for this BBQ sauce since I tasted it at BFT's on Yonge St in Toronto the 80s. This is a nice bright reddish-orange with a sweet and tangy taste. I asked the waitress who's sauce it was and the kitchen shared their secret with me....which I will take to the grave!
Seriously....check this place out. The food is awesome.
And beyond the food, my waitress Kristina was great. She was friendly, accommodating, timely, and encouraging (with respect to the bucket of carrots). A big thank you to Kristina for taking my experience over the top.
Sorry but I didn't take any photos....this time. That will have to change...
